Bikers
You’ll encounter members of three different Biker gangs during your time in Badass Crater: Pete’s Burners, Momma’s boys, and Torgue competitors. Regardless of their affiliation, Bikers are generally motorcycle gang-themed variations on bandits, Psychos, Bruisers, and the Goliaths from elsewhere on Pandora. The main thing to understand is that all of these gangs dislike one another. They’re each loyal to their lead competitor in the tournament, particularly Momma’s boys and Pete’s Burners, and they attack one another on-sight. This is good news for you, as these other foes often kill one another in the Torgue Arena or during a barroom brawl at Pyro Pete’s Bar. Nevertheless, each gang has a unique color scheme to help distinguish them. Momma’s boys wear purple and green and are common to Southern Raceway area. Torgue’s competitors stick to the company theme and sport yellow-and-red checkered outfits. You can find them in the Badass Crater of Badassitude. Lastly, Pete’s Burners tend to wear a lot of spikes and reside in The Beatdown.

Vehicles
With three warring Biker factions, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are several vehicles to contend with. All factions have access to Boom and Grinder Bikes. Boom Bikes are essentially suicide vehicles strapped with drums of fuel. Target the red barrels before their drivers ram into your vehicle. Cargo Buzzards exist only in Battle Board missions located at The Forge and pose no direct threat (though their accompanying Escort Buzzards do). Lastly, the monster truck is a harmless NPC of a vehicle associated with the “Monster Hunter” mission.

Loaders and Turrets
Why should Hyperion get all the fun? Mr. Torgue can’t think of a single reason, so he’s crafted an army of Torgue Loaders that effectively resembles each and every variety of Hyperion Loader in behavior and weaponry. Torgue Loaders, however, keep to the company theme and rock a far more macho Badassitude. Torgue Loaders are adorned with spikes and leather but are otherwise indistinguishable. Shoot their limbs to nullify their abilities to walk or shoot their guns, or if possible, aim for the optical sensors in their chests for critical damage.

Motor Momma
