Caustic Caverns

The first ECHO Recorder isn’t far from the entrance to Caustic Caverns. It’s on a garbage pile just before the Oozing Discharge area.

Sir Hammerlock needs you to head to Caustic Caverns and locate the evidence detailing the origins of the crystalisk species. He’s willing to pay bonus money for killing a small number of spiderants, threshers, and crystalisks. Completing these bonus objectives should be of little trouble, provided you want to live. Caustic Caverns boasts one of the densest creature populations in all of Pandora; you’ll be hard-pressed to make it out alive without killing at least a few dozen enemies. The only one that could prove difficult without a special effort is the spiderant objective. Be sure to pay the Nether Hive a visit before proceeding through the tunnel to Dahl Deep Core 06.

The second piece of evidence is located in the Infested Warehouse. Lay waste to the varkid infestation, and then pluck it off the column in the center.

Each of the four ECHO Recorders you seek is marked on the minimap and can be found as you make your way around the map in a counter-clockwise direction. Read on for specifics regarding each ECHO Recorder’s whereabouts.

Make your way through the mining tunnel on the west side of the area and proceed to the blood-soaked room in Dahl Deep Core 06 to find this final ECHO Recorder. You may need to complete “Minecart Mischief” to access this area.

This ECHO Recorder is affixed to a tombstone on the northern edge of Eridian ruins. Drop to a lower ledge to find it near a chest.
