The Highlands
Tannis has scattered four ECHO Recorders containing information about her past throughout The Highlands and would like you to find them for her. Use the Fast Travel station to return to Overlook and get yourself a Light Runner from the Catch-a-Ride, as you have a lot of ground to cover. The locations of each of the ECHO Recorders are marked on the minimap, provided this mission is active. Nevertheless, actually reaching the ECHO Recorders can prove tricky. Here’s how to find them:
Make your way to Frothing Creek Mill and enter the Hyperion container nearest the cave. You’ll have to enter it from the rear, as there’s no way past the twisted metal gate in the front.
Clamber along the cliffs near Aggregate Acquisition and shoot out the electrical fuse box on the tower near the Hyperion banner. This grants you access to a small rooftop storage room filled with ammo and this next ECHO Recorder.
Descend the stairs from the Blake Bridge surface to the shack just below the road. Carefully step out onto the metal beam and leap across to the left to enter the nearby hut where the ECHO Recorder is located.
The final ECHO Recorder is on a rowboat just beyond the dock in Old Cranky’s Pond. It’s not uncommon to encounter a Badass Pyre Thresher in this area, so come prepared!
