Have you attracted unwanted attention in a restricted area, with objectives still to complete? Then either wipe out everyone or, better yet, retreat to an area inside or out of the restricted area and hide. Optionally prep any entrances with an electroshock device proximity trap or scenery trap, and remain undetected as the “Vanish” timer appears on your minimap. As you escape and the timer is depleted, the enemies return to their neutral state and start patrolling, and you can continue your stealth infiltration without resorting to blind, ugly violence.
