Brief

The Auntie Shu Boys are smuggling in the people with serious skills, and the reason why needs equally serious answers.

Hostiles

Auntie Shu Boys Gang

Location

Auntie Shu Boys gang hideout (import/export company office), Chinatown, San Francisco.

Drive to the objective point where Sitara’s contact guides you toward a nearby import/export company where records are kept. Time to infiltrate this safe house.

Infiltration Points

Southeast Pagoda Alley:

This is a good route to the main yard area in front of the garage and is the usual place to begin infiltration. Park a vehicle by the smoking woman, near the pagoda roof, and climb onto the lower roof, up the ladder, and across the rooftops; this is excellent for an aggressive plan.

Eastern Lantern Alley:

Concrete steps near an ornate street lamp offer a hidden method of slipping into the narrow alley to the side of the garage. Note the vent behind the mesh fence. However, it’s difficult to aim at the foes once you head toward the garage, and there’s no way to reach the roof.

Northeast Import Office:

The Auntie Shu gang’s office is accessible from this location, but only after you unlock the door via the Closed Circuit Terminal which is inside the office (enter via the garage, ideally using the Jumper). However, if you create a disturbance, gang members sometimes unlock this door, allowing access. Note the ladder behind the concrete wall; use this to easily reach the roof and neutralize the foe up there. There’s alley access, too, making this a great spot from which to enter or escape.

Western Salmon House:

The salmon-colored Victorian home adjacent to the restricted area has two possible infiltration points—the yard and the alleys (one with trash bags, the other a narrow alley near the ornate building with the foo dog statues). Note that you can climb the trellis attached to the salmon house; then you can use the ladder to the reach the house’s roof. This roof offers great views over the restricted area and is an excellent sniping spot. You can also jump across to all the other rooftops surrounding the yard to get a better position. The narrow alley offers good views of the garage yard, but there’s not much room to maneuver, and you can be easily trapped here if reinforcements arrive.

POIs and Objective Points

Roof Access

There are two ladders and a scissor lift within the yard, and all offer access to and from the roof. Use them if the infiltration is becoming untenable or you want the height to start aggressive sniping. You can actually reach the ladders and climb to the roof without alerting the guards if you’re fast enough. You can move the scissor lift, too, though you’re very exposed and easily shot at while you move the lift up and down. Instead, use the lift to cause a distraction.

Auntie Shu Garage

Aside from Infiltration Point (IP) 3, the only way to reach the objective is through the garage (beware of the dog, and guards from inside the office if you’ve previously made noise), either via the main vehicle door or the unlocked door to its left. You can also use the RC Jumper to maneuver in via a duct to the northwest. A hackable door in the garage’s southeast corner leads to stairs up to the office, which has three rooms and four foes.

Closed Circuit Terminal

Inside the office on the south wall is a CCT, which is optional to hack, as the terminal only unlocks the exterior door in the northwest corner of the office (at IP 3). It’s handy to hack (using Marcus or the Jumper) for a quick exit, though!

Safe

The rear office room (northeast) houses the safe with the documents you need. Hack the picture of Auntie Shu so it slides back, then physically unlock the safe or use the RC Jumper.

Paths To Completion

No Trouble in Little China

No interaction with the Auntie Shu boys is possible if you use the RC Jumper, enter the alley at IP 2, leap the mesh fence to your right (A.1; northwest), and enter the garage via the hackable ground vent. Scoot around the boxes, left of the van (ignoring the dog). Go to the open vent and take the stairs up to the office (A.2). At the top of the stairs, distract the two Auntie Shu guards between you and the office; hop over the wall opening, and trundle into the office. Hack the picture so it slides open, and unlock the safe. Done without any bloodshed!

Another route is via the window vent at IP 3, which allows access directly into the office, across from the objective. This is a quicker infiltration. However, you are more easily spotted.

Suppressed Fire in Little China

Tasing and throttling (or distracting and throttling), along with a collectible grab, is possible; however, suppressed executions afterward allow you to remove all foes without them waking up again. Start at IP 1, venturing into the main garage alley and locating the three nearest foes (B.1). Drop one with a taser, then the other two who investigate, depending on where they are; sometimes you can catch them all with a single electroshock grenade. Tase any innocents in case they run to open the garage door. If necessary, open the garage door first to distract your foes.

Shoot the three guards you just tased with suppressed fire. Open the garage door (B.2). Zap the dog by hacking the vault transformer in the middle of the garage. Climb any ladder (the one above the Dumpster close to IP 1 is ideal) and ascend to the roof. Locate the foe by the AC ducts on the garage roof (B.3). Tase and then execute him (or distract and throttle) before jumping north to gather the collectible. Return to the ground floor.

Enter via the main garage door, head up the interior stairs, and tase the nearest foe. Distract any others with a phone call, and tase them until you’ve neutralized all threats. Wait at the top of the stairs (B.4) and tase multiple foes; it’s safer than heading into the office. Then complete the objective with zero reinforcements.

Quick Access in Little China

Need to access the office fast? Then drop electroshock bombs from the Quadcopter to zap all yard foes, and you can use the Vehicle hack to hack the van in the garage and remotely drive it to distract your foes.

This usually causes such a commotion that foes from the office unlock the northwest door in their search for you; position yourself nearby so you don’t have to access the CCT. Or, use the Jumper (or Marcus) to slip into the garage after drawing foes away from the area, and head up the interior garage steps into the office, and unlock the CCT if you need to.

Big Trouble in Little China

Ready for a turf war? Then climb the salmon Victorian building in the southwest corner of the restricted area. Make your presence known, and start raking foes with your weapons of choice (lay a bomb atop the ladder so foes don’t flank you). Jump to the roof in the northwest corner of the restricted area, overlooking the locked office, and finish off the Shu Boys as appropriate. If they remain hidden, stride through the garage and up the interior stairs, dropping anything that moves.

After you gather the documents, leave the mission area. You relay the information to Sitara.
