3. Operation—Pro Bono

It looks like Pharmingtons used a Blume algorithm to search data and flag high-risk employees, with “DedSec” at the top spot on the flagged list. Time to send a nice severance package to those affected workers!

Infiltration Points The finance building is adjacent to a guarded parking lot, three blocks east of your current position. You must infiltrate the parking lot and locate and unlock a closed-circuit terminal (CCT) in order to open the garage necessary to start the hack. Main Gate (South): Hack rolling gates and step behind the numerous parked vehicles to ensure you aren’t spotted (or to use as cover for a carnage spree). Side Barrier (West): The area is open, but there’s only one guard in the general vicinity to sneak up and neutralize. Notice the gap in the railings, left of the barrier (northwest exterior corner). Drop in an RC Jumper here. Upper Railing (North): The long planters and iron railing to the north has a gap in it, almost directly north of the parking lot hut. This makes infiltration easy.

POIs and Objective Points Closed-Circuit Terminal Inside the parking lot hut is a CCT—the key to opening the garage. The hut is guarded by a single patrolling guard, and there’s an easily hackable door, as well as a ground vent to roll an RC Jumper through. Garage (ctOS Box) Once you unlock the garage door, you can simply access the ctOS box inside to begin a remote sweep of the building. The exterior close to the garage has a couple of large parked vehicles that are great for hiding behind, while sneaking in.

Stealth Camouflage

Enter via the gap in the railing (IP3), dropping down and throttling the guard near the barrier first. Sneak into the hut, unlock the CCT, then head back outside. The two remaining guards are facing each other, so coax one onto the transformer vault near the main gates, and explode the vault. When the other comes to investigate, throttle or tase him.

A Remote Route to the Garage

Drop your RC Jumper by the hole in the metal fencing, in the northwest perimeter of the parking lot, left of the barrier. Hack the Exit door to the hut, and trundle across when the nearby guard isn’t looking. Once the RC Jumper is inside, unlock the CCT. Then hack the ground vent, move the Jumper outside so you can see the garage door, and hack it open. Then access the ctOS box. If you physically want to be inside the garage after this, sneak in by dropping down from the gap in the railing (IP3) and tiptoe behind the low walls and vehicles.

A Deadly Sabotage

If you want to mow down three guards before entering the garage, there are better places to commit murder than on the parking lot tarmac. Climb on the large gas pipe with the mesh box around it, attached to the concrete hut. Get onto the hut’s roof and the subsequent building roof overlooking the parking lot. Or lurk atop the long planter behind the fence. Both of these offer a height advantage to your shooting and projectile-lobbing.

Once inside the Pharmingtons’ head office, hack into their system by accessing the camera on the laptop positioned near a printer on a U-shaped desk. Then hack the tablet on the low shelf below the desk. Gift $10,000 to each affected employee from an illegal account. That’s how it’s done, people! The mission concludes.
