2. Operation—Tattletales

Objectives

Hack the stingrays near Coit Tower (2).

Brief

Somebody’s set up an elaborate stingray operation to leech phone data from the streets below. We want to know who did this and what they’re up to.

Location

1: Roof of residential home (townhouses), north of Coit Tower, San Fransisco.

2: Roof of residential home (apartment), southeasat of Coit Tower, San Fransisco.

There are two stingray devices to find, and you may have found one of them already. You are tasked with locating and hacking the other two. This can be done in any order you like:

Stingray Device 1: North and a little west of Coit Tower, on a very high rooftop of a group of townhouses. Run along the alley to the north of the device, until you’re near and under it. You can:

  • Use the Scissor Lift, standing on it before raising it up to its full height, and hacking the device.
  • Remain on the ground and hack it.
  • Utilize your RC Drone, and fly it close to the object, and hack it.

Stingray Device 2: In the residential area between Coit Tower and WKZ Station, slightly south of them both. It is attached to a vertical pipe on the roof of an apartment (south end of the alleys). You can:

  • Climb the trellis by the bougainvillea vines and hack from the lower rooftop.
  • Utilize your RC Drone, and fly it close to the device, and hack it.
