Watch Dogs 2 Guide › Training › Part 6: Gadgets And Weapons

Weapon Loadouts

Picking the best duo of weapons that complement each other is the key to triumphing during operations. So we’ve bench-tested a few loadouts for you to combine.

Loadout 1: Sneaky Blighter

Slot 1: Zero Day Rifle

Slot 2: WTB Grenade Launcher

Partner both weapons with your 2EZ Stun Gun for the ultimate in nonlethal encounters. Use the taser to subdue foes. Matters getting out of hand? Use the electroshock ammo of the WTB to incapacitate multiple enemies. Need to execute foes after they’re asleep? Shoot them once with the Zero Day Rifle, with a silencer that keeps your stealth plan active.

Loadout 2: Scope A Load Of This

Slot 1: Core Dump Pistol

Slot 2: HHOS Rifle

Another excellent choice for those wanting to electrocute the enemy (with the stun gun) before shooting them with the suppressed Core Dump Pistol in almost silence. The pistol may not have a good range, but it has a scope for accuracy and tags nearby foes who aren’t visible and are close to the victim. If it all kicks off, switch to the HHOS: With its scope, armor-piercing rounds, and auto-tag bullets, you have short, sharp accurate bursts with excellent range (at the expense of silence).

Loadout 3: A World Of Hurt

Slot 1: Goodbye, World Shotgun

Slot 2: CTRL-ALT-DEL Launcher

If you’re abandoning subtle infiltration and instead turning to mayhem, this combination is excellent for taking down an entire gang hideout and the inevitable law enforcement who then show up. The Goodbye, World shotgun has terrible range but insanely high damage, contains extra pellets in each round, and is fully automatic. It can waylay and stop anything. Follow it up with a grenade launcher if reinforcements are cramping your style.

Loadout 4: My Only Friend, The /End

Slot 1: DOT_FILE Rifle

Slot 2: /END Sniper Rifle

For those attempting a long-range killing spree first, may we suggest the /END Sniper Rifle? With an excellent scope and an autotag feature, it can reveal subsequent enemy locations; this allows you to systematically shoot and find targets until the enemy finally spots you. The only problem is the low damage, so it’s not useful on the foes with the toughest armor. That’s why you bring the DOT_FILE rifle too; it fires in nice, short bursts, hacks a fallen target, and has excellent damage for enemies you didn’t drop at long range.

Loadout 5: Oh Boy, Serge

Slot 1: DDoS Shotgun

Slot 2: YourBoySerge Sniper Rifle

Got armored foes and can’t take them down in stealth style? Then use these two armaments as backup. The DDoS denies service to armored foes with its piercing rounds, hacks any target it kills, and blasts in three-round bursts instead of pellets. For sniping, the YourBoySerge Sniper Rifle has the longest range and damage and comes with armor-piercing rounds.
