This is a large restricted area, with most of the action taking place on the roof and inside the main facility building at the foot of the gigantic Sutro radio tower.

Northeast Security Cabin

This is the “usual” insertion point to this facility. Note the rocks outside the perimeter fence here (1A) can be jumped over using the RC Jumper with the enhanced Jump Skill.

Rocks and Barrel Storage Shed

The roof of the concrete shed in the southeast corner of the grounds can be scaled easily from the rocky outcrop on the edge of the perimeter fence, by the shed’s outer wall (2A). Note that the RC Jumper can leap the wire fence at this point (with enhanced Jump Skill).

Pallets to Container Truck Roof

This area to the southwest allows easy access (or views) into the main parking lot, and because the truck isn’t technically inside the restricted area, the guards won’t become violent, though they can become aware of your presence. There’s also a gap in the fence (3A) just left of the container truck, allowing access to the parking lot.

Main Vehicle Entrance

The driveway ends at this point—a smaller parking lot (4A) and then the building’s main loading docks and parking area. This area is open, tricky to navigate without being seen, but there are numerous hackable objects to divert attention (the forklift, transformer vault, junction boxes, and gates, for example).

Storage Garage Scaffold

Follow the perimeter fence to the northwest corner of the facility, and you’re able to climb on some low scaffolding (5A) to reach the roof of a small storage garage. This is a good spot to watch proceedings from, snipe, or flee to and from, as you can enter and exit from this point. Take note of this as a possible escape route.

Roof Ladders

Two ladders leading up onto the roof are accessible (6A, 6B), and provide immediate access to the roof. Consider them an excellent method of gaining height, but watch for two patrolling guards once you’re on the roof.

Motion-Detector Door

The northeast corner of the control building has a well-guarded door (7A). A motion detector is usually above the door, and a guard patrols the side yard. Note the floor vent gate just left of the door itself (7B). This allows access (by a simple hack) into the lower interior stairwell.

South Gantry Stairs

Another method of entering the roof, these stairs are usually guarded by foes, and a roof guard descends from time to time. This allows access into the upper interior control room (8A), usually an objective location.

Parking Lot Steps Entrance

A door that is easily hacked can be entered via these partly enclosed concrete steps from the parking lot. They lead to the lower interior stairwell.

Roof Ladder and Motion-Detector Door

The low building roof overlooking the parking lot and unloading yard has two possible infiltration points—some wood planks and scaffold to a roof ladder (10A), as well as gantry stairs up to a door with a motion detector above it (10B). If you want to enter the control room via the interior stairs, this is the route to take.

Lower Interior Stairwell and Control Room

There’s usually a guard positioned in this interior stairwell (11A), patrolling the metal stairs to the motion-detector door and control room. Head inside the control room (11B), usually on foot or by using your RC Jumper. Note that the server cage room on the western interior side of the control room is bulletproof.

Roof

The roof is patrolled by guards and usually has a CCT box to hack. Note the two AC ducts—one near a ladder to the gantry stairs (12A), and the other across from the closed-circuit box overlooking the west parking yard (12B). Both allow the RC Jumper (or Quadcopter) access into the control room.

Operation Examples

Data Storage (Data Breach Operations): The data to hack is on the platform outside, overlooking the parking lot, so use the ground below, or any of the interior areas to continue the download. The control room server area is particularly good, as it allows you to prep proximity traps (and foes can’t shoot you in the cage room). Sure, it’s a dead end, but battling out afterward is reasonably easy if you flee to the right (south).

Shipments (Destroy Shipments Operations): Try remotely detonating all three shipments. With two players and four drones to play with, it’s easily possible: Both players should use the RC Jumper to get up on the roof, to the AC vent north of the usual CCT position, which drops you into the duct to the lower interior room and stairs. From here, simply destroy the shipment here using the RC Jumper. Bomb the other two shipments (one on the roof, and the vehicle in the yard) from a height with the Quadcopter.

Prisoner (Prisoner Release Operations): Is the prisoner in the control room server area? Then approach from the southeast corner, jumping on the barrel-storage building, up the metal stairs to the roof, to hack the CCT allowing access to the door on the stairs, into the control room. The second player waits for the CCT to be unlocked, then moves into the control room to rescue the prisoner, distracting and strangling guards as they go. Both players should leave to the south, flagging down a getaway car on the road below, or taking one from the Sutro Tower parking lot to the west.
