4. Operation—All-Seeing Eye

Return to the Hackerspace after DedSec beckons you in, as the rocket you just hacked is about to launch. It’s as impressive as you were expecting, and Wrench in particular is excited to see it. This also gives you access to all of Blume’s satellites in geostationary orbit around the earth!

Once you’re viewing from up in space, interact with the Delaware Data Center, and you’re presented with Blume’s network. You can’t access Delaware yet. Instead, you need to find and hack into various points of entry throughout the world. Access the next Blume satellite in space, to your “right.”

Paths To Completion

The Dublin Hack

This allows you to access the cameras in the Dublin Blume Office. Cycle through the cameras until you see the network manager at the desk of a technician. Her desktop PC is locked. Find the camera offering a view down the corridor to the alarm, and complete the following:

• Hack the alarm so the network manager heads out of the office.
• Cycle to the camera looking through the office window.
• Focus on the data center technician (who’s been locked out of her computer prior to your “arrival”), and hack her phone as she’s talking to her friend.
• Her phone contains the password for the desktop PC. Hack that.
• There’s a tablet on a desk in the white-tiled corridor, which you can also optionally hack, but it isn’t necessary when completing this objective.

The Dubai Virus

The Dublin hack opens up additional network strands visible from space. Cycle through to the next satellite, which allows you to spot the Dubai Server Farm. Access it. Cycle through the cameras into the server room. Then work your way from camera to camera, flicking between NetHack view, looking at the servers.

• Hack the access key. Then hack each server visible from the cameras within the server room, and upload a virus to each of them. There are multiple servers per camera and three cameras to watch from.
• Once the virus is uploaded to a server stack, the lights turn from blue to red. Once five virus uploads have occurred, the objective completes.

The Seoul Power Fluctuation

Returning to space, cycle to the satellite above South Korea, and access the Seoul power plant. Time for a slight disruption to services! From the initial camera, hack the camera ahead and right of you. You’ll see a number of tower PCs you can hack and the power grid on the large monitor on the opposite wall.

• From the second camera (looking at the room’s left side if the power grid monitor is to your right), deactivate the middle and right PC on the left bank of computers. Ignore the left PC.
• From the third camera (looking at the room’s right side if the power grid monitor is to your left), deactivate the right PC on the right bank of computers. Ignore the left and middle PCs.
• As you deactivate PCs, the power grid goes from light blue to orange. The whole grid must be orange to complete this objective.

The Delaware Connection

After the main relay to the power grid looks like it’s going to blow, head back into space, peer down at the Delaware Data Center, and interact with it now that there’s accessibility. Enter the gigantic data center, hacking the drone at server bank 1E. There are other drones you can pilot, but this is fine to use.

Pilot the drone through the colossal rows of server farms, heading toward the objective: an office between the “A” server banks. Peer into the office, hacking the camera and then the security router to uncover a gargantuan Network Bypass. Solve the different elements of it in any order you like.

The method shown below separates the puzzles into ten vertical puzzles. The easiest to hardest is on the left side—left to right—then easiest to hardest on the right, moving right to left. The final puzzle is on the floor. Use the drone throughout the following:
