4. Operation—Payback

Objectives

Get the limo’s GPS routes.

Download the CFO’s data (100).

Download the CEO’s data (100).

Brief

All the bulls**t Proviblue is pulling comes directly from their CFO and CEO. They need to pay.

Location

Cover parking lot, adjacent to the alley southeast of Connelly Square (two blocks southeast of Embarcadero Center), San Francisco.

The limo service the company bigwigs use has GPS data to hack; this is available inside a small concrete hut in the parking lot adjacent to the alley you just infiltrated. However, the door to get in is locked.

Drive your RC Jumper through the small gap in the mesh fence (left of the locked mesh gate), and open a ground vent in the side of the hut. Drive in, then attempt either (or both) of the following:

  • Unlock the closed-circuit terminal (CCT), hack the security door open, then step in and manually interact with the data container.
  • Ignore the CCT, and use the RC Jumper to remotely interact with the data container.

Either way, the GPS data is yours. Time to download some data. Though you can choose to follow either the CFO’s or CEO’s vehicle, the CFO’s car is closest to your current position. Check your Nudle Map for the route the CFO is taking; he’s about a block away from your current position. Retrieve his data and check the map to see the route the CEO is taking.

One Block Away: Remain about one block away, so your “Retrieving Data” bar fills up and you’re just within range. Follow the CFO (then the CEO) discreetly from this distance, until the data bar is full (100).

Time to Pay: Or, close in on the CFO (then the CEO), jostling for position, then ramming, fishtailing, or otherwise attempting aggressive vehicular maneuvers. Expect reinforcements to arrive (you’ll need to escape them afterward). Shunt the CFO or CEO vehicle to stop them from making evasive maneuvers, or simply chase them until the data bar is full (100).

Once you gather the CFO data, stop following the first car, and quickly drive to the route of the CEO’s vehicle. When both bars are full, Sitara devises a quick and nasty payback plan, and the mission concludes.
