Objectives

Hack the rigged pay phones (3).

Locate the one near Lombard Street.

Locate the one near Union Square.

Locate the one near Civic Center.

Brief

Somebody’s hacking pay phones to ring all at once, a recording of doxed DedSec members on the other end. We’re going to install a MITM (Man-in-the-Middle) hack to several of the modified phones to see if we an track these a**holes back.

Location

1. Top of Lombard Street, San Francisco.

2. North-central area of Union Square, San Francisco.

3. South-central area of Civic Center park, San Francisco.

Locate the following three phones, in any order you wish, though the order presented in the objectives is optimal. In each case, the general location of the phone appears on your Nudle map, but these disappear when you get within visual distance of the objective. At that point, use NetHack view to spot the objective.

Phone 1: Head to Lombard Street, and hack the phone at the top of this famous winding road.

Phone 2: Locate Union Square, and find the pay phone just north of the square, by the donut shop.

Phone 3: Arrive at Civic Square, and investigate the city-block-sized park area between the fancy buildings. The pay phone is on the street to the northwest of the park.

In each case, the calls seem to be hijacked by a doxing device. Though it’s small-scale now, it has the potential to ruin DedSec.
