Online Operations are activated differently from Main and Side Operations. They can appear in your DedSec App, or another player can invite you to join their Online Operation. Rewards for successfully completing Online Operations include additional Followers, and clothing.
Online Operations appear on your DedSec App as one of three operations you can undertake. Each involves you infiltrating one of the 20 restricted areas detailed in this chapter, but the Faction you’re fighting against is different, as follows:
Dedsec App Access
When you wish to attempt an Online Operation, simply check your DedSec App for any that are available. There are an infinite number of them to undertake (you can complete as many as you like), and all offer rewards, making them an excellent way to increase your Followers.
Restricted Areas
You’re directed to a starting point close to one of 20 (randomly selected) restricted areas. You can then begin the Online Operation at this point, either on your own, or with a second (online) player. Once you’re close to a restricted area, expect enemy interaction.
