Restricted Area Information
For each of the 20 restricted areas that an Online Operation might take place in, this guide offers some overall tactics and advice. Here’s how this all breaks down:
Number and Name: The number of the restricted area refers to the number on the main map, shown previously in this chapter. The name is a description of the location, but not (usually) used in-game.
Map: This shows a top-down map or maps of the entire restricted area, along with the most pertinent infiltration points and structures.
Available Operations: This table lists the five operation types, and lists how many objectives to expect each time the operation is active. So, if the number “3” is listed, there will always be three objectives you need to reach. “Variations” lists the number of variations of the same operation type you can expect. For example, if “2” is listed in the “deliver vehicle” variations, it means the vehicle you’re stealing could be in one of two different positions.
Structures and Infiltration Points: The most efficient way to expertly complete an Online Operation is to know all the infiltration points and exit areas. This is the main focus of this chapter; every nook, cranny, RC Jumper-sized vent or hole, and structure is detailed.
Operation Examples: For operations that don’t involve stealing encrypted hard drives (where the enemies carrying the drives are constantly moving), one example of mission completion is detailed, to give you an idea of how easy or difficult this can be. Use the same or similar planning when completing your Online Operations.
