1. Acquisition—Operation Starter

Locations 1. Citizen at the gas station just south of Ghiradelli Square, San Francisco. 2. Roof of residential home (Victorian), one block south of Coit Tower, San Francisco. 3. Citizen at the pier east of the WKZ Station, San Francisco.

There are odd signals coming from the area surrounding the Coit Tower landmark in the Telegraph Hill area. This operation begins when you find and hack either of two citizens, or a stingray device on a roof.

Operation Starter 1: A citizen standing under the main awning at the Starter Oil gas station, just south of Ghradelli Square. He has odd phone problems.

Operation Starter 2: One block south of Coit Tower, there’s an odd signal coming from the roof of a residential building. You can:

• Run up the alley to the west of the building, up the driveway, find a garage shed with a peaked roof to climb up, and inspect the device at close quarters. Or use your RC Jumper and follow the same route.
• Look up from the alley, and hack the object.
• Utilize your RC Drone, fly it close to the object, and hack it.

The object is a stingray device; it seems to be leeching data of people’s phones. The data seems to be going to Coit Tower.

Operation Starter 3: A citizen standing near some picnic tables at the pier east of the WKZ station. He has weird phone problems.
