3. Operation—On The Line

Objectives

Hack the doxer’s device.

Brief

DedSec has tracked the phone doxes back to a wireless device. We’re hoping it will lead us one step closer to finding the trolls behind this operation.

Location

Roof of Victorian apartment block, Castro District, San Francisco.

Two blocks south of the Civic Center park, near the large pride flag in the Castro District, is a block of Victorian apartments. You can reach the relay antenna in one of two ways:

  • On foot: Head up the steps from the north (heading south), looking right (west) and hopping over a narrow planter and wooden fence to reach an inner courtyard. Climb the shed and AC units to the upper roof and objective.
  • Via RC Jumper: Utilize the RC Jumper, and follow the same route. Or stay by your vehicle and send the drone up to hack the objective, which is much quicker.

The roof’s AC duct has a relay antenna placed on it. Quickly hack this and find the source of the doxing.
