1. Operation—Hello World

Exit DedSec HQ, and cross the road to the park. You’re told to profile everything around you—people and devices—and see what you can pull from them. Wrench is also keen on you finding components to help with research such as BotNets. Not sure how to properly profile? Then consult the “Training” chapter and gather intel and components from anyone whose details are color-coded blue. Feel free to engage anyone who’ll talk to you in conversation, too, including a guy flying drones outside the park, in the neighborhood (find him using your Nudle Maps app).

Your main task is to turn on NetHack and locate the person of interest indicated by the orange glow. While there’s nothing to hack, meet the guy and speak to him; he’s furious about Gene Carcani. After the rant, Sitara remembers Carcani as the guy on TV laughing about raising the price of leukemia medicine. Apparently Bobo’s in town, and Carcani has offered millions to keep the album all for himself. Bobo isn’t going for it. At least, not the real one… This operation concludes, but it unlocks an optional side operation.
