Gates 1–9: Boost and accelerate strongly, watching for a trash bin between Gates (G) 2 and 3. Don’t focus on pedestrians; look at the course ahead and stay slightly right of center through each checkpoint. On the downhill just before the stone step ramp over the lake, stop boosting and hit the steps right of center to avoid getting tangled up in the trees; then boost through the middle of the arches.

Gates 10–19: Don’t oversteer at G10, as you’re heading off-road and over a grassy bank through G11 and can easily lose control. Also, don’t jump at an angle; instead, jump straight up onto the tarmac at G12. Boost at top speed except when cornering at G14. At G17 and G18, stay to the right, ease off the boost, and line yourself up with the rock tunnel at G19 as early as possible.

Gates 20–29: Make a right turn out of the rock tunnel (don’t cut it too sharp or you’ll skid). Boost up onto the tarmac and up the hill. Continue to boost at top speed as you pass the gas station and G29.

Gates 30–Finish: Ease off both the boost and gas just as you pass G30, because G31 has rocks on either side and is a sharp corner. Tap the brake as you pass through G31, then boost down the hill, hitting the last checkpoint (G32). Head for the middle of the short stone steps so you sail through the air and land on the finish arch.
