Sueño’s Proposition

Objectives

  • Reach the RV
  • Answer the phone

LOCATIONS

  • Agronomic Center

REWARDS

  • + 350 XP

Brief

Sueño’s put the word out that he wants to negotiate. Though it’s possible we’ve hurt him so much that he wants to talk peace, it’s more likely he’s planning an ambush. Two can play that game. Go to the meet. If Sueño turns up, kill him.

No Agro at the Agronomic Center

With no boss, only a few scattered locations, and just this single mission to complete in Monte Puncu, you spend most of your time finding and securing assets for the rebel forces. That is, until Sueño reaches out and attempts a meeting. Head up to the remote agronomic center. The place is quiet. Too quiet?

Agronomic Center: Recon

TACMAP

Though this location might contain foes when the mission isn’t active, the place is empty when El Sueño calls this meeting, not only of cartel forces, but any workers or civilians. On top of completing this mission, make sure you secure the rebel supplies dotted around.

East Entrance: Road

Use this to enter the base if you’re heading here in a ground vehicle. There are no defenders at all, and you can enter and park at the objective. Note the mission area extends out to the railroad, where you can find supplies.

South Perimeter: Fence

A dilapidated fence runs from A all the way along the south side of the base. It’s climbable, both in and out. There are no adversaries to worry about.

West Perimeter: Fence and Hillside

Access over the fence running north to south on this side of the base is hindered somewhat by the rock outcrops, but it’s a simple matter of hopping over.

North Perimeter: Fence

This is the shortest route into the base, via hopping the badly sagging fence running along the perimeter here. You’re able to reach the HQ building, which offers the best defensive opportunities and views of the entire mission area—if you needed defenses, that is.

Target: El SueÑo’s Present

Your mission calls for you to meet El Sueño at his RV. Instead, four brand-new luxury sedans are parked on the main courtyard (which is also a good place to land a helicopter if you came here by air). Are these booby-trapped? No, they’re a “gift” from a man increasingly worried about his standing.

Agronomic Center: Other Tactical Advice

When you reach the courtyard, there’s a phone ringing. Answer it, and El Sueño begins to bargain with you. He wants to end the bloodshed, and wants to hire you. The four cars are a signing bonus. Why not put your skills to work for Santa Blanca? You decline the offer, call Bowman, and the mission concludes. The cars are yours, though.
