Brief

Antonio’s extraction and the loss of several drug caches have thrown Mojocoyo into turmoil, and El Sueño is out for blood. He has ordered sicarios to torture and kill Antonio’s wife Gabriela. Get to Gabriela and extract her before it’s too late.

Grabbing Gabriela

Mojocoyo Bravo is around 1.2 kilometers away from the small village of Panua, where Gabriela is being held. Assuming you wish to save the woman you outed to the cartel, this mission is straightforward; so much so that reconnoitering the village isn’t even necessary.

Panua Village: Recon

TACMAP

The small hillside village of Panua is perhaps the most idyllic you’ve encountered, mainly because there’s a distinct lack of cartel members in the vicinity. In fact, only the centrally-located church is necessary to visit.

Target: Gabriela (Panua Church)

The church at the bend in the road is where Gabriela is currently hiding. The settlement itself has no enemies, making extraction extremely easy. Simply enter the church via the main (roadside) entrance, or either of the two rear doorways, and speak to Gabriela. The only time you need to worry is if a cartel vehicle passes by, on the road. Simply ignore these vehicles, and they drive on. Of course, nothing ever goes smoothly, as after you and Gabriela exit the church, the cartel attempts an ambush a few seconds later. A heavily-armored SUV complete with a minigun turret and four armed thugs drives in from the west, directly ahead of the main church entrance. It’s worth leading Gabriela back into the church, and leaving her while the rest of your team engages.

Panua Village: Other Tactical Advice

Holster your weaponry so as not to freak out the villagers, head into the church, and begin the extraction. There’s little more to it than that. Weaponry isn’t required, unless you’re seen by a roadside patrol vehicle belonging to the cartel, in which case, return fire. Usually though, just let the cartel vehicle pass by.

In Solo, leave the church, waiting for Gabriela to enter whatever vehicle you came here in. Or take the car parked outside the church.

In Co-op, have one of your team waiting outside the church in a vehicle that’s armored and with a minigun, if you’re worried about foes driving at you en route to the extraction point.

This mission is even easier if you land a chopper here, and extract her by air.

If the ambush cartel SUV makes an appearance before you drive off, retreat into the church with Gabriela. The rest of your team should return fire from the road, or the cliffs southeast of the church. This is easier in Co-op, with additional Ghosts available to patrol the road, and block the enemy SUV while others escape with the target. You can also try laying mines and setting up an ambush before the enemy actually arrives, waiting behind the cover afforded by the village homes either side of the dirt road the enemy drives up through.

Extraction to Mojocoyo Bravo

Take a measured drive (or flight) southeast towards the extraction point. Feel free to ignore or engage enemy vehicles along the way (though the latter is just reckless behavior). After you deliver Gabriela to Bowman, the mission concludes.
