Brief
Santa Blanca is getting ready to deliver a major shipment of drugs to buyers across the border with Brazil. Thanks to the records obtained from the cartel truck stop in Koani, we know the exact route the shipment will take. Intercept the convoy and destroy it.
Truck Destruction
This is a standard convoy-takedown mission, though the enemy has impressive military SUVs on either side of the truck. Fortunately, you don’t have to grab and interrogate anyone; simply destroy the truck and be on your way. Cartel casualties are a bonus.

The three-vehicle convoy—comprising a military SUV with a minigun, the truck, and a rear military SUV with a minigun—takes a loop around the salt flats. Engage the enemy until the truck is destroyed. Destroying the SUVs is optional.
Cartel Convoy: Other Tactical Advice
This mission gets a whole lot simpler if you ensure your ambush location isn’t near an enemy stronghold. You don’t need the extra and unwanted hassle of engaging cartel henchmen when all you need to do is take out a truck.
You can wave down the truck with your guns pointed at the driver, then shoot everyone (and lob in grenades from all directions). Or you can ram him off the road (in Co-op, each player can use a vehicle to pin him more quickly, and from multiple sides), or bash the truck until it catches fire. Or your whole team can ride in an armored truck and ram the enemy vehicle while shooting at it. Don’t forget to shoot the tires of the truck to slow it down.
Or you can strafe the vehicles from the air, using a helicopter. Or lay mines or C4 in the road, ready to be detonated as the convoy passes over them; when the lead vehicle stops, head in with guns blazing. Or run alongside the truck and lob C4 or a mine onto its side, then back up and shoot (mine) or trigger (C4) the explosion; this works most of the time when the truck is moving slowly or stopped, but can occasionally work if it’s moving (and you trigger the explosion almost instantly).
