Rebel Op: Breach Comm Center

Travel to the network station southeast of La Hacha Buena. A network relay rests against the north wall on the second floor of the building. There is an entry point on this floor, but it is only accessible from a narrow balcony. Instead, explode the south door and sprint up the stairs. The 60-second timer does not leave much time for dawdling. Ready yourself for a gunfight as you near the second-story. Peek around the corner and clear out the hostiles as you move toward the north wall.

Wedged between the Buchon House and Santa Elena Village, the cartel has constructed a makeshift runway at the top of a hill. A loaded plane rests at one end as five soldiers stand guard. Look for one or two to patrol up and down the airstrip, leaving them open to covert takedowns. Eventually, remaining troops can be eliminated with Sync Shots, so finish them off. Before stealing the airplane, collect the Weapon Case at the far end and document under the canopy. Pull back hard as you take off to avoid the fence and fly southeast toward Libertad, where a rebel runway is ready for your arrival in the farmlands of La Cruz.

Southwest of La Cruz Alpha rally point, a plateau rises above the Rebel Campsite. It is here that a supply drop has come to rest. Take advantage of the helicopter parked at the rally point and fly it to the top of the mountain, setting it down near the supplies. Tag them to unlock or upgrade the Rebel Recon skill.

Start your approach of La Cruz Base from the Burned Forest to the north. It is possible to grab and intimidate the target in this Rebel Op mission without any confrontations. Move south between the defensive wall and waterway and take out the soldiers inside the bunkers if they threaten to detect your presence. Continue right along the brick wall, following it until just before the bridge, as it comes to an end. Step around the barrier and hug the inside as you move behind the sicario leader’s house. Cautiously peek around each corner as you move around to the front of the home. If nobody spoils your stealthy infiltration, you should be able to enter through the front doorway and sneak up behind the target. Grab and intimidate him to complete the side mission. Remember, regularly using the drone for recon helps keep enemies from getting the jump on you.

At Carrasco Farm, east of Isque Village, a radio sits between a rock wall and pallets of barrels. Only one road leads to the ranch, so place a mine or two near the entrance. Call in support and activate the device to begin the 2:20 timer. Enemies primarily approach from the west, but regularly glance at the radar to prevent sneak attacks.

Southeast of the San Rodrigo Monastery, find an antenna at the three-way intersection. Activate the switch, hop into the 4x4, and drive downhill to the highway on the right. Follow it through the village, but do not continue around the left turn. Instead, cut off the 180-degree turn by jumping down to the lower road. Keep your speed up across the bridge and slide onto the dirt path. Dive out of the vehicle as you reach the second antenna and throw the lever.

West of Nupucu, Flor De Oro

Travel to southern La Cruz, west of Nupucu, Flor De Oro, to find a sicario leader held up nearby. A chalet, surrounded by barbed-wire wall, sits at the base of a mountain. An opening on the backside and the driveway provide the only ways onto the property. Seven soldiers accompany your target along with a sports car. Once your presence has been detected, the captain makes a break for it in the vehicle. Look for enemies on the upstairs terrace and outside the wall and deal with them first since they are out of view from the others. If a narco is spotted inside, enter through the back door and take him out. More can be lured outside the wall or into the house. Once the remaining soldiers can be eliminated with Sync Shots, finish them off before rushing the boss.

Comms Tool Raid

In eastern La Cruz, near the southern border, a Santa Blanca outpost holds a chopper full of comms tools. Six soldiers guard the helipad with more patrolling the nearby base. If available, the simplest approach is to send the group away with a flare shot. Otherwise, Sync Shots can be used to reduce the numbers. Just be sure that one of your initial targets is the lieutenant, since he swipes the helicopter if spooked. Once the helipad is clear, collect two documents for your Kingslayer Files and immediately board the aircraft. Fly a short distance to the east to the landing strip.
