Bling Is the Thing

Description: Tonio Mateos enjoys style and performance. You must show him all your skills for him to even consider having you join his gang. So, put on your driving gloves and pay close attention. This gangster doesn’t suffer fools.

Reward: 750 XP, 477 Gang Followers

Reach the Mission Location

Head for the Unidad Camp. Drive around the camp and get in a position on the hill to the south without being detected.

Find the Bag of “Diamonds” in the Unidad Camp

Clear out the camp from the safety of the hill. Start by disabling the alarm, dispose of the sniper in the tower, and pick off the Unidad guarding the west entrance. Keep an eye on the enemies patrolling in the base, too.

Once those enemies are down and the alarm is disabled, sneak in through the west entrance. Immediately go to the right and stay close to the wall on the south, which leads to three buildings. A weapons case sits in the first building on the west side and your objective will be under a cot in the middle building.

Get into the Race Car

Move away from the Unidad base toward the next mission marker--a racecar. This vehicle is in a friendly area, so just enter the area and hop into the car.

Reach the Drop Off Point 2:10

Once inside the car, get ready to nitro boost to the drop off. You may encounter a few Unidad checkpoints and scattered enemies along the road, but boost right through them. Because of the time limit, there is no time to fight.

Use the nitro boost after turning to quickly get back to top speed, then put the pedal to the medal on the long straight bits of road to reach the drop.

Hide the “Diamonds” in the Trash

Once you reach the objective, the timer will stop. Hop out of the vehicle and place the “diamonds” into the pile of trash left near the dumpsters. With the “diamonds” placed, your mission is now complete.

Electro Air Race

Description: For Tonio, status is everything. He believes his gang must have the best cars, bikes, and planes to remain on top. Get Tonio the plane he wants and you’ll gain his trust for future operations.

Reward: 750 XP, 454 Gang Followers

Reach the Mission Location

Head in from the south side of the mission location.

Locate the Plane’s Pilot

Start by disabling the generator behind the stage. This will help you on the off chance that something goes awry.

There are some Unidad guarding a few cargo containers on the west side of the stage. The Pilot is being held inside the red one; the opening faces to the east, toward the stage.

There are several Unidad guarding the pilot, so venture in from the north side to end up on the opposite side of the stage. Using the stage as your cover, you can get clean shots on each of the guards. You must quickly take down the two nearest the pilot, as they will notice their downed comrades. When the coast is clear, get the pilot

Interrogate the Pilot

Enter the cargo container and interrogate the pilot.

Destroy the Antenna

Equip your drone with the explosive loadout, then send it in to destroy the antenna from a distance. This enables you to remain undetected and avoid an unnecessary fight with the Heavy Unidad Soldiers guarding the entrance to the airstrip.

Steal the Plane

Stay on the north side of the landing strip, steering clear of the Unidad, while traversing through the vegetation to the plane. Watch out for any Unidad that may shift their attention to the north, though. If this area gets loaded up with enemies, retreat to the stage area and take the longer way around the strip to the south.

Once you’re in line with the aircraft, slowly cross the strip and board the plane. Don’t worry, as these planes take off quickly so you can fly right over the Unidad without them shooting you down.

Fly to the Extraction Point and Stay Under 100 Feet

The plane must stay under 100ft. This is determined by your plane’s distance to the ground instead of the plane’s actual elevation. Look out for cliffs and large hills while flying to the landing strip. These obstacles will change your distance to the ground, forcing you to quickly dive and making the flight much more difficult.

A skilled pilot can fly directly to the landing strip, but be ready to nose dive and quickly pull up to maintain your distance. Land near the green smoke signal to complete the mission.

A New Toy

Description: Keep Tonio’s ego inflated by stealing a car for him. That legendary machine will win him some new recruits and earn you a place at Tonio’s side.

Reward: 750 XP, 454 Gang Followers

Speak with Señor Sonrisa

Find Señor Sonrisa whistling away while he browses some books. There are no enemies here, so no recon is required.

Locate the Sin Alma Underground Camp

Call in a helicopter and head for the mission objective. Refer to the game’s minimap and land a safe distance away on the small dirt road to the east of the camp.

A few friendly gang members are mixed in with two Sin Alma who are guarding the camp. Eliminate the Sin Alma using a silenced weapon, leaving the friendly units alive. Once complete, head toward the tunnel entrance.

Extract the Sin Alma Defector

Two Sin Alma are inside the tunnel. Pick them off one by one as you move up the tunnel.

Near the end of the tunnel you’ll see a Sin Alma soldier facing a larger room. Use him as a shield while picking off the other gang members on the second level of the catwalk.

The Defector is on top of the catwalk with his hands on his head. Grab the Weapons case on the bottom floor of this room before exiting with the defector. Inside you will find the Carnage Assault rifle.

Bring the Target to the Extraction Point

Slowly exit the tunnel; two Sin Alma are waiting at the bottom. Quickly dispose of them and any other Sin Alma who may have wandered into the area before running back to your vehicle on the dirt road.

Make sure the defector is inside your vehicle before leaving. The extraction point is at the top of the hill, just a short distance from the cave. A P90 can be found inside the extraction point building.

Find Los Sin Alma’s Fastest Car

Take your helicopter toward the mission objective and the car will spawn on the paved road, heading west.

Steal the Legendary Car

The car will quickly head north down a dirt road, so use this knowledge to your advantage. Fly ahead of the vehicle and get in a good position to snipe the driver.

You can cause damage to the car, but just make sure it doesn’t explode. Also, ramming the car with a vehicle and forcing it to lose control will cause the two soldiers to hop out and begin attacking. Once the area is clear, hop in the car.

Bring the Vehicle to the Extraction Point

Follow the GPS markings to the gang camp and drop off the vehicle to complete the mission.

The Biggest D

Description: Your new best friend is now your worst enemy. But don’t get beat. The more this clown feels threatened, the more likely he will brag about his clients… and that means EL Invisible.

Reward: 1000 XP, 113 Gang Followers

Head to the Mission Area and Talk to Tonio

After a short conversation with Tonio, it’s time for a showdown against Tonio in a race.

Beat Tonio’s Challenge

Before heading toward the mission marker, equip your drone with the explosive payload.

Destroy the Convoy

Bowman informs you about a truckload of cars that Tonio is sending toward the race area. Quickly head toward the Unidad convoy escorting the vehicles. Once you’re within 100m, hop out of your vehicle and pull out your drone.

Activate the explosion on the target truck and off-road your way to the objective. Note that this will lose any attention you may have gained from this short encounter.

Reach the Race Starting Point

Follow the road to the starting point. You get to select a car when you arrive at the starting point, so don’t worry which vehicle you use to get there.

Pick Your Vehicle for the Race

Any vehicle will work. For purposes of this strategy, we choose the Santa Blanca Truck as it tends to do well on and off the road with decent handling.

Beat Tonio’s Race Time 4:00

Follow the waypoints all the way to the end. You don’t need to follow the roads, as taking the most direct path to the next waypoint across the unpaved terrain is generally the best option.

Once you reach the finish line, a cut scene will play. At the completion of the cut scene, the mission will end.
