Brief
El Sueño’s made contact. He’s offering to give us Special Agent Sandoval’s recorded confession. This is probably a trap, but we can’t afford not to check it out. Head to the RV and recover any media you find.
Just For the Record
After receiving a call from El Sueño himself, you’re told to visit a Bolivian refugee base about two clicks east of La Cruz Alpha. Surprisingly, El Sueño mostly keeps to his word; though the base has a good deal of cartel troops, the majority are on the north side of the settlement, well away from a lone comms center building where the confession is located. The mission is simply a matter of gathering the confession and listening to it.
La Cruz Base: Recon
TACMAP
The center of this tent city is where the recording has been left, inside a lone comms center surrounded by (mainly empty) tents. There’s a significant but not overwhelming cartel presence to the north and a few scattered foes to the south, but none of these are mission-critical.
West: Main Road
This offers quick and easy access from the main road to the west, into the base, and it’s a short drive to the comms center and target recording from here. Or you can drive (or sneak) into the cartel base and start removing foes, though it’s better to shut down the generator at C first.
Northwest: Cartel Bridge
This river bridge links a large warehouse yard to the northwest with the rest of the main base (an HQ building, alarms, minigun and sniper towers, and access to C). Expect resistance if you use this route, which is not recommended for this mission.
North: Helipad and Generator
If you must engage the enemy, make sure no further reinforcements arrive. Instead of finding every alarm, shut the generator down next to the helipad. A solid brick and barbed-wire wall prevents you from infiltrating, so head east a few meters, stand on the pile of bricks, and climb through the open window into the mechanic’s garage. You’re across from the drone jammer; now work your way westward if you want to neutralize the area.
Northeast: Main Road Checkpoint
A sniper and a couple of checkpoint foes crop up if you head southwest down this road, though you can easily drive past them without being spotted. Head west if you want to clear the base itself, which is not mission-critical in the least.
Southeast: Rocky Ground and Trees
Head here from north of Isque village to avoid encountering any foes. Then move along the metal fence heading southwest, close to a small compound and HQ building with one or two foes near a small gas station. Ignore them and head north to the target.
La Cruz Base: Recon
South: Main Road
This offers relative safety if you’re journeying around from A or E. Head up this road, pausing to wipe out the cartel stragglers to the north and northwest if you wish, and make for the target.

In terms of completing the objective, drive a vehicle, land a helicopter, or maneuver on foot to the lone comms center building and recover the recording. The shocking revelations automatically play as this short mission concludes.
