Juggling is hitting a midair foe who’s tumbling helplessly. This isn’t necessarily a part of a combo, but often is. Lots of throws and hard-hitting moves end up putting victims in ripe position for juggling, especially at higher-damage percentages. Fighters trying to fall back to the stage have some options to ward off or avoid juggles (even while tumbling fighters can make themselves drift left or right, or fast-fall, and once locked hitstun ends, tumbling fighters can reorient themselves with an air move or air dodge). But advantage still rests with the aggressive fighter on the ground, aiming at juggle candidates with upward-aimed attacks of every type (up air attack is always appropriate, and up tilt/up smash usually are too, except for a few fighters with quirky moves), plus fighter-specific juggle tricks.
