A USMC Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) has landed on this Persian Gulf beach during the night in the hopes of quickly seizing the nearby Russian airbase.
The stakes are high for both sides. The Marines face possibly being driven into the sea and destroyed. The Russian forces could lose a key airbase and open the door for US forces to take strategic oilfields.
Both sides have been using the morning to prepare for the final assault.
If you thought the map for Squad Deathmatch was small, just wait until you set foot on this map. This is little more than a chaotic urban playground, where quick reflexes dominate.
Since moving around this map is so dangerous, don’t be surprised if players tend to find a secure corner and camp.
While camping in one spot isn’t the most sporting way to play, it’s by far the safest option, especially if you find yourself on your own.
However, if you work together with a close group of friends, you can successfully navigate this map. However, avoid the street as much as possible.
When you must cross a street, sprint or deploy smoke ahead of your advance. The building in the center of the map has an accessible rooftop.
So watch for enemy snipers here, or occupy the rooftop for yourself. Still, it’s best to keep moving. If you kill multiple enemies from one spot, it’s only a matter of time before they respawn and seek revenge.
