The Girl’s Gift

End of Chapter 2 until Debt Repayment Interval 11-12

The feathers can be collected in Alest Highroad by defeating Alest Chirpees. These are pretty weak foes and should be easy to defeat, even at the start of the game.

After collecting ten Beautiful Feathers, go to Duval Station and look for the young girl in the northwest. Give her the feathers so she can make a present for her father.

What Could Have Been

After Chapter 3

Buy the Tomato Omelette from the local vendor in Trigleph and go to the Central Station. Talk to the cafeteria attendant in the northwest to give him a tasty dish for him to aspire towards.

Go to your apartment on 3F and enter your room. Search by the sign to the left of the door to get the Classmate Contact List. Deliver the list to Aaron in the center of Trigleph—Technology Drive.

The Days of Our Lives

After Chapter 5

The landlord of your apartment building has a problem with a stubborn cat. Meet her at the entrance of your apartment and speak to her. The cat causing the commotion is on the first floor and you simply have to go inside and pick up Malik to solve the “problem”. Return to your landlord outside and tell her of your great deed to complete the job.

Elle’s Belongings

End of Chapter 6 until Debt Repayment Interval 12-13

Meet Elle in your apartment on 3F to automatically find her super important item, Rollo’s brush! Apparently it is the best brush in the world and Rollo needs to stay clean trouncing all over the world. Collect the job report from Elle and report the task to get the very useful reward, the Item Sphere Plus, which allows your teammates more options using items on the battlefield. This is probably the biggest reward for the shortest task you will encounter.

Traces of Kinship—Part 1

End of Chapter 7 until Debt Repayment Interval 12-13

There is nothing to specifically retrieve in this task; simply go the CEO’s Office at Spirius Corp. Use the World Map to travel to Spirius and go to 40F to give Bisley the data disk you received earlier. This disk is one part of a complete log left on other scattered disks. This event starts a new mission to collect the rest of the data disks under secret name Code-J.

The Father’s Gift

End of Chapter 7 until Debt Repayment Interval 11-12 / Complete Event Quest 01: The Girl’s Gift

When you’ve collected ten Crown Feathers, use the World Map to go to Duval Station and look for the father near the booth by the ticket gates. The girl should look familiar from the first Event Quest, and you finally get to meet her father.

Driselle’s Crisis

End of Chapter 7

Go into any shop and enter the Custom Order menu to create the Remus (Light). Of course you have to collect all the items necessary, and if you are having trouble check the table below. Go to Sharilton and head towards the southern section called Lord’s Manor Gates. Driselle will be waiting outside the manor, afraid to go inside. Speak to her and listen to the terrifying tale of the creatures inside. The party will automatically help her deal with the situation, and you can chalk up another win with very little effort.

Karla’s State of Affairs

End of Chapter 8

In this quest, you’re tasked with collecting three Migrant Plumes. If you want to pursue it immediately after finishing Chapter 8, you’ll need to go to the Lakutam Seahaven, and from there go to the Tulea Tundra. You’ll find two Migrant Plumes in a chest in the Tulea Tundra—South Region, and can pick up a third by battling the Crystal Beak and Penguinist enemies in the same region. Complete the quest by taking them to the lobby of the Kanbalar Inn, where you can hand them over to your client.

The Debt—Part 2

End of Chapter 9 / Complete Event Quest 03: The Debt—Part 1

This quest tasks you with delivering three Everblooms to Aaron. The Everblooms can be found at Gathering Points in the Mon Highlands, but it’s easiest to pick up two from a chest in the Mon Highlands Silent Cave and pick up the third in Sharilton. Once you have all three, meet Aaron on Technology Drive. Aaron is surprised to see that it was Ludger who accepted his request. Don’t expect a big show of gratitude.

Rideaux’s Request

End of Chapter 9 until Debt Repayment Interval 13-14

Rideaux seeks three Mysterious Beads. The Nala Lava Tubes are the best place to find them, but you can also get Mysterious Beads from Gathering Points in the Xailen Woods. When you get all three, bring them to Rideaux at Film Noir. Rideaux falls into a coughing spasm mid-conversation. It sure seems like there’s something he isn’t telling you.

Relaxing Leronde Lodge

End of Chapter 9

Completing this quest is as simple as entering the lobby of the Leronde Lodge. Leia’s mom is furious that her daughter hasn’t responded to her letters and Leia is going to hear about it. After the lecture you’ll receive the Mr. Frog attachment.

Speed Quest

Elize Episode 2

This is the quest you encounter as part of Elize’s Episode 2. Talk to Elize in Marksburg to find out about a competition that is taking place where the grand prize is a Bunnykins.

Go the Bridge of Unity and talk to the guy holding the contest, then check the Job Bulletin and accept the Speed Quest job.

Travel to Rusalle Highroad’s Central Region and defeat five Malachite Beaks. Warp back to Marksburg and report the successful completion of the Speed Quest job to receive the Prize Voucher.

Run back to the Bridge of Unity and show the man the prize ticket to win the grand prize... a Bunnykins?

Meeting with Julius

End of Chapter 9

To complete this seemingly simple hunt for a runaway cat, you’ll need to travel to a wide variety of locations. The exact process is listed below. Note that completing this quest is the only way you can recruit Catstantine the Third. There seems to be some sort of strange connection between Julius and this quest’s client, Marvin.

Go to Trigleph Central Station.

Approach Julius in Duval’s Downtown area.

After the event, capture the cat in the street.

Talk to Marvin in Duval Station.

Poker Face

End of Chapter 9

Your client in this quest is seeking the return of an item that was stolen by a cat. You’ll need to go to Drellin, so if you haven’t gone there yet, take a train from the station. There you must capture a blue cat named Enya and find the Tengu Mask.

Bring the mask to your client at Film Noir in Duval. The Dealer seems to have trouble hiding his emotions, so he conceals them with his Tengu Mask.

Leia Report—Part 1

End of Chapter 9 / Complete Leia Episode 3

In this quest, Ludger and his companions help Leia with her research. To complete it, you must first have made it possible to buy Minestrone at food shops by completing Event Quest 02. All you need to do is buy a bowl of Minestrone (Small) and bring it to Leia, who is waiting on Trigleph’s Technology Drive. There are three parts to this quest, each of which becomes available as soon as the previous one is completed. If you complete all three quests, it will affect the way Leia’s Episode 4 plays out.

Leia Report—Part 2

End of Chapter 9 / Complete Event Quest 16: Leia Report—Part 1

Go to Marksburg to help Leia perform a second interview for her article. The person you’re looking for is on the northern part of Rieze Harbor. Impressed by her sincerity, the ornery merchant tells Leia what she wants to know. She finally seems to be getting better at this whole journalism thing.

Leia Report—Part 3

End of Chapter 9 / Complete Event Quest 17: Leia Report—Part 2

This quest sends you to rescue a soldier stuck in the Nala Lava Tubes. You’ll find your target in the North Region of the Lava Tubes, but when you approach the soldier you’ll end up in a fight with a Gentlefreet and two Fire Golems. All of these foes are Fire-type ones, so it’s a good idea to boost your Fire resistance with Flame Cape or Garnet accessories. Ludger should attack the Gentlefreet with his sledgehammer while his comrades target the Fire Golems with Water-type artes.

To finish up the quest, head to the plaza area of Kanbalar’s residential ward and talk to the soldier there.

Dissertation of the Six

End of Chapter 10

A historian wants you to find a rare copy of the book Dissertation of the Six. You’ll find it sitting on a table on 3F of Orda Palace, in the Archives 2 room. You can learn more about the Dissertation of the Six from Jude, Alvin, or Muzét.

Traces of Kinship—Part 2

End of Chapter 10 until Debt Repayment Interval 12-13 / Complete Event Quest 06: Traces of Kinship—Part 1

In this quest, Rideaux asks you to recover a Code-J Data disk. You’ll find the man who can give you Code-J Data 2 standing in front of the shop in the Xian Du Coliseum’s Hall of Heroes. Bring it to Rideaux at the 1F entrance to the Spirius Building.

The Code-J Data 2 contains data about Julius’s true motivations, but you will need all three to get the entire story.

From Vera with Sympathy

End of Chapter 11

Vera asks you to deliver a bottle of Whiskey “Ex Machina” to Marcus. You can secure a bottle by searching a barrel in Marksburg’s Elym Harbor hotel or by dispatching your cats to Trigleph. You can also find a bottle by searching the barrel to the side of the hotel counter. Bring it to Marcus on the Bridge of Unity to complete the quest. Marcus seems to have something he’s been trying to say to Vera.

Birds of a Feather

End of Chapter 11

Jude’s father Derrick seeks three Lightshroom Spores. This is a rare item that can only be acquired through the Kitty Dispatch, so you may want to break out some cans of Royal Feast if you have a few to spare. When you acquire all three, take them to the Mathis Clinic in Leronde. Derrick isn’t shy about expressing his doubts regarding Jude’s spyrite theories. But is that just his way of showing pride in his son?

Request from The Four

End of Chapter 12

This quest tasks you with delivering four Gaius dumplings to Milla’s Great Spirits. After completing Chapter 13, you’ll be able to find Gaius dumplings by checking objects in a number of towns. There are three in Kanbalar and two in Trigleph, so if you haven’t picked them up yet, use the maps of those areas to track them down. You can also get them by dispatching your cats to Kanbalar, although the odds they’ll come back with dumplings are fairly low. When you’ve assembled four dumplings, go to Milla’s Shrine to complete the quest. Your reward for this quest includes multiple new artes for Milla, so make sure you don’t skip this one!

The Spicy Chef

End of Chapter 12

This quest involves delivering a bowl of Mabo Curry (Medium) to the Spicy Chef in Fennmont. Buy one from a food shop if you don’t have one on hand, and speak to the client at Fennmont Seahaven. Even after completing his quest, the Spicy Chef won’t have a lot of nice things to say to Ludger’s party, but Milla will put him in his place.

Bisley’s Orders

End of Chapter 14

In this quest, Vera seeks a pair of Princessia flowers. Both are in the Mon Highlands, but only one can be found by the party; to get the other, you’ll also need to dispatch your cats to the Mon Highlands. The flower in the Mon Highlands is in the area just beyond the Silent Cave, so search the field of flowers to find it. When you have the goods, bring them to Vera at the president’s office on 40F of the Spirius Building.

The Shrinemaiden’s Request

End of Chapter 15 / Complete Hassle at the Tatalian Abyss 8

Go to the Xailen Woods Temple to rescue a priestess who claims she was attacked by the Great Spirit of Eternity. After you advance to the heart of the temple and view an event, your party will be attacked by Pluto.

Pluto is accompanied by an Azure Servant and Crimson Servant, each of which can revive itself once after it’s defeated. Still, you don’t want to leave them alive and risk being surrounded, so eliminate them as quickly as possible so you can battle Pluto four-on-one. After Pluto’s companions are defeated, he’ll start unleashing damage-dealing orbs of darkness, so use free run to avoid them.

All of Pluto’s attacks have wide areas of effect and are extremely powerful, but his movement speed is quite slow, and he leaves wide openings for counterattacks after he strikes. Use free run to stay far away from him, rushing in to launch combos after he attacks and misses. Your enemies’ attacks are generally Dark-type, so using an accessory like an Amethyst to boost your Dark resistance will make this battle a lot easier. Light-type artes like Divine Streak can damage all of your foes, making Milla and Rowen especially effective in this battle.

Key Tactical Points

• The Servants have an Iron Stance of 0, making them easy to stagger.
• Use the Power Charge 2 skill against Pluto, who has no weaknesses.
• This battle is easy if you’re able to absorb Dark-type damage.
• Unlike other elemental damage types, Light-type weapons and artes are effective against all three foes.

End of Chapter 15 / Complete Jude Episode 5

Balan asks you to pick up some high-quality beef he’s ordered. You’ll find it on the counter of the item shop on the first floor of Fennmont’s Samsara Trading Post.

Once you’ve collected the 50 KGs of High Quality Beef, take it to the laboratory on 13F of the Helioborg Research Station.

Once Mercenaries

End of Chapter 15 / Complete Gaius Episode 4

In this quest, Erston asks you to deliver a letter to Marksburg. First you need to retrieve Erston’s Letter, by searching the bag on the lobby counter of the Kanbalar Inn. Bring that letter to Tanner at the Elym Harbor hotel to complete the quest.

Tanner will throw a lot of attitude your way, but in the end he’s touched by Erston’s kindness.

Traces of Kinship—Part 3

End of Chapter 15 / Entered the Land of Canaan/ Completed Event Quest 20: Traces of Kinship—Part 2

Your goal in this quest is to retrieve the Code-J Data 3. First, acquire the Code-J Data 3 from the antique store owner in Sharilton’s East Market.

Next, talk to Vera at the 1F entrance to the Spirius Building to get the Code-J Data 3 Analysis. She will state the disk is empty, but has some sort of code or key.

Finally, go Trigleph’s Frères Apartments to unlock the door to Julius’s room. Read the note on the table to gain a better insight into Julius’s life and automatically take the Castor Twins Reforged dual blades. These are the strongest weapons you will probably own for a while. By the way, you can also pick up a few items in Julius’s room, including a pair of Rare Boots (an excellent accessory that provides resistance to slash, strike, and shot damage) from his closet and a can of Royal Feast from the bookcase.

Femme Fatales—Part 1

After completing the game

Mint posted this quest on behalf of a friend who collects lenses. She needs five Rainbow Lenses, an item that can only be acquired via Kitty Dispatch. Send your kitties out to Kanbalar, Orda Palace, the Sillea Tundra, or the Land of Canaan to find them. When you get all five, talk to Mint in Sharilton’s East Market to complete the quest.

Femme Fatales—Part 2

After completing the game

A money-hungry client is in need of a Unicorn Horn, which can be earned by defeating three enemies who only appear in the hidden Illusionary Darkness dungeon: the Shadow Battlecorps Sergeant, Shadow Bat, and Shadow Gatekeeper. Once you earn a Unicorn Horn, talk to your client at Fennmont’s Central Plaza.
