Search for a Spirit
The enemies and geography of Torbalan Highroad are the same in the Fractured Dimension, but this is the only chance to collect the new treasures. You can dash through to Helioborg, but if you check the maps it will be easy to pick up the treasures along the way.
Helioborg is a big place to run through, and there are no new treasures to search for, so don’t waste any time running through this version. Instead, speak to the man with the red smiley face over his head who will automatically guide you to the exit by Rusalle Highroad.
Rusalle Highroad has new treasures to obtain. They are on the way to the exit, so take the time to grab a few items as it’s the only chance you have to collect them. If you are eager to progress the story, go to the exit to the east. But if you are a true treasure seeker, there are a lot of new items in a Fractured version of Tatalian Abyss.
This is a pretty good time to explore Tatalian Abyss, especially if it was too tough earlier in the game. The incentive is really high considering this is a once-in-a-game opportunity to explore this area for unique treasures. If the area is still too challenging, just avoid the monsters and go for a speed run only collecting treasures. Even if you don’t want to explore this area, you should stop briefly because there is a Peddler near the entrance that can restock your items.
When you are finally done exploring this dimension, return to Rusalle Highroad and go to the Dimensional Breach to find the spirit with long hair known as Chronos.

This boss floats in mid-air, unleashing powerful artes. At the battle’s start, it has no weaknesses, so all you can do is link up with Alvin and attempt to break through its iron stance with your sledgehammer. Chronos deals a lot of damage with its attacks, and they can cause all sorts of ailments. Use the Panacea Bottle at the start of battle and lots of health items in battle or this fight will be over pretty quick.
The boss’s Tetra Spell arte gives you a particularly long opening in which to strike. But even then, the boss will begin to counterattack after three or four hits, so fight defensively even when going on the offense. This is a very high-damage move that can wipe out your teammates if they are low on HP.
The boss uses the Trinity Bit arte to generate three bits. When all three are destroyed, the boss gains a new weakness to Slash, Strike, and Shot damage types. This is your chance to pull off weakness-exploiting combos and finish off the boss with Linked Artes.
When the boss is in Over Limit, run away until it runs out or transform and deal as much damage as you can.
