Knock Your Foe Down So Alvin Can Charge Up
Step 1:
+
, Step 2: Fierce Demon Fang, Step 3: Charge, Step 4:
+
This combo requires a charge to perform, but replenishes the charge before it ends. Start by performing two-hit
+
attacks and, when you run low on AC, knock your foe down with a Fierce Demon Fang. After executing that, make sure to hold down
to replenish your charge. Once charged, prop the enemy back up with a
+
attack and repeat the combo for additional damage.
Use Gun Artes to Close the Weapon-Separation Gap
Step 1: Charge, Step 2:
+
, Step 3: Any Charged Arte, Step 4: Arc Fire, Step 5: Back-Step
After using a charged arte in a combo, if Alvin has expended his final charge, he’ll be left dangerously open to attack as he separates his weapons. To avoid this, immediately use the Arc Fire arte after completing a combo that involved a charged arte. That will close the usual window of vulnerability, and if you add in a back-step, the enemy will have little hope of retaliation.
Use Charged Blow to Recharge Mid-Combo
Step 1: Charged Blow, Step 2: Fierce Demon Fang, Step 3:
+
, Step 4: Charged Blow, Step 5: Dragon Salvo
This combo is centered around the Charged Blow arte, which allows Alvin to charge as part of a combo. Start by attacking with Charged Blow to put Alvin into a charged state, then unleash a charged Fierce Demon Fang to knock your foe down. Immediately force the target back up with a
+
attack, then perform another Charged Blow before finishing the combo with a devastating Dragon Salvo. If you have any AC left, use Arc Fire to safely separate your weapons.
