A Low-TP Combo You Can Use at Any Point in the Game

Step 1: – Step 2: + – Step 3: – Step 4: Cerberus Strike – Step 5: Back-Step

Building your hit tally with two-hit regular attacks and using Cerberus Strike as a finisher is an easy combo you can perform at almost any point in the game. One of the benefits of this combo is that the normal attacks restore 3% of your max TP, so you hardly need to worry about the TP consumed by the Cerberus Strike. After completing the Cerberus Strike, use back-steps to get some distance so you can replenish your AC as you look for another chance to repeat the combo.

Knocks ‘em Down and Keeps Striking for Big Damage

Step 1: Raging Blast – Step 2: or + – Step 3: Dragon Shot – Step 4: Frost Breaker – Step 5: Aqua Sweep

This combo opens by using Raging Blast to rush in from a position about one quick-step away. After Raging Blast knocks the target down, move in with or + follow-up attacks. Next, use Dragon Shot to prop your foe back up. The Dragon Shot will send you into the air along with your foe, so unleash a mid-air Frost Breaker to smack him down to earth. Finally, knock him back down with Aqua Sweep to buy yourself time to recover AC before you resume attacking.

After a Snap Pivot, Ensnare and Attack a Group of Foes

Step 1: Snap Pivot – Step 2: Whirlwind Snap – Step 3: Raging Blast – Step 4: Swallow Dance – Step 5: Phoenix Plunge

Executed after circling behind a foe with Snap Pivot, this combo uses the enemy-attracting properties of Whirlwind Snap to gather multiple foes and damage them all. Raging Blast and Swallow Dance lift up the assembled foes while damaging them, setting them up to be knocked down with Phoenix Plunge. Once they hit the ground, try to follow up the combo with a linked arte. When battling foes who are resistant to wind, replace the Raging Blast with a Dragon Shot.

Shatter Enemy Defenses with a Guard Break

Step 1: Soaring Vortex – Step 2: Blunt Fang – Step 3: L1 + – Step 4: Frost Breaker – Step 5: Beast

When battling a guarding foe, break the guard with Soaring Vortex and use that opening to launch a combo. After Soaring Vortex knocks the foe down, follow up with a Blunt Fang before propping the foe back up (with L1 + ) . Next, hit it with the powerful Frost Breaker, and finish the combo by knocking the foe down again with Beast. If you still have AC to spare, you can continue the combo by propping the foe back up and knocking him down again.

Use Variant Linked Attacks to Fill Your Linked Artes Gauge

Step 1: + x2 – Step 2: + x2 – Step 3: – Step 4: – Step 5: Talon Storm

The variant normal attacks that you can only perform while linked to certain characters fill your Linked Artes Gauge much faster than normal attacks do. So by partnering with Milla, with whom Jude has many combination attacks, it’s possible to fill the Linked Artes Gauge very quickly. Finish the combo with an arte like Talon Storm that adds a lot of points to the Linked Artes Gauge. Once that fills your gauge, chain the combo into a powerful Linked Arte.
