As the game progresses, new items will appear in the shops, but you can also use the Custom Order menu to make other precious items. Use this option to make your own powerful items at any shop as they all offer the same Custom Orders. Many of the items can only be obtained through this method. However, you can’t simply buy these items. They must be created and typically require three or four ingredients (in addition to gald) to build these wares. Use the cats get the items you need, but make sure what each item requires before you make it so you don’t use the last of a material. The appearance of new Custom Orders is typically in the Main Chapters, where they’re added when you visit a certain shop in a certain town (it then becomes available everywhere else too).
