Meet the CEO

Take the Fractured Dimension Data from the pursuit agents and travel to the corporate HQ in Trigleph by boarding the ship in Aladhi Seahaven and taking the train in Marksburg. From the train station, go to Technology Drive and head west to enter the first floor of the Spirius Corporation. Chat with Vera in the lobby and find out the that CEO, Mr. Bisley Bakur, wants the data you acquired to be delivered in person.

Take the elevator on the western wall and you will automatically appear near Bisley’s office on the 40th floor. After you hand over the data, he will provide some very interesting information about Julius.

The good news is that Bisley has been watching Ludger and wants to recruit him into his agency. Conveniently, the bad news is that Ludger is on the police most-wanted list, but Bisley can keep the heat off of Ludger if he agrees to become one of Bisley’s agents.

Either way you become a DODA agent of Spirius and agree to investigate the Fractured Dimensions that your brother was involved with.

Head to the Underground Training Grounds

Bisley will walk off and wait for you in the underground training area. When you go there, he will teach you to wield the Kresnik ability surrounding the mysterious Fractured Dimensions. Leave Bisley’s office and search the rest of the 40th floor to pick up a few items and find Patches the cat.

Use the above-ground elevator to search the 30th, 20th, and 10th floors before returning to the first floor lobby. While scouring the rooms for hidden items, take note of the terminal on the 30th floor that displays the emergency detonation code for the training room. Also, Tiggy the cat is hiding under a desk on the 20th floor in the same room as a person that worked with Julius. Speak to the employee and he might be able to help you later on (in Chapter 14 for example).

When you finally reach the lobby, use the underground elevator to the northwest to go down to the basement level B10. Go through the eastern exit to enter a circular room and activate the room lift by checking the terminal with a green screen. Exit the next room to the east and go down the staircase to speak to Bisley and begin the tutorial.

Go through the tutorial to learn about the chromatus gauge. When the gauge is full, you can transform anytime —this is a real game changer! While in this mode, you will have access to new devastating moves, combos, and skills.

Boss Spirius Gatekeeper

The Spirius Gatekeepers are resistant to all damage types. If you attack them normally, you won’t be able to stagger them with your hits and will face immediate counterattacks. Instead, follow the instructions on screen and transform at the beginning of the fight. While in your transformed state, you won’t be staggered by enemy attacks and you won’t receive any damage from them. Additionally, your attacks are not affected by resistances, so you can repeatedly use powerful attacks like Hexentia or Dark Projection to wipe out your foes without much trouble. Remember that while transformed, the artes you execute will change based on how many regular attacks preceded them.

Complete Quests to Pay Your Debt

After completing Chapter 6, when you exit Spirius Corporation, Vera will give you a World Map! Finally, you can go to any previously visited area in a snap. The map displays the names of places you have been as well as a question mark for areas you haven’t visited that are connected to the others you have. The World Map is a great way to travel instantly, but it also displays possible missions in each area using a green ! for Event Quests, red ! for Character Episodes, and the familiar yellow star for mission objectives.

There are no new areas to explore in this interval, and to make it more challenging, the debt repayment amount for this period has increased significantly from last time. This is a good time to grind for experience, gald, and items from the Kitty Dispatch. Make sure to finish any lingering quests and be sure to complete the time-sensitive quest called Elle’s Belongings. The real reward from that quest is not gald but the Item Sphere Plus that increases the options of auto items your teammates can use in battle.

If you are having trouble reaching the debt repayment goal, the solution is to go after an Elite Monster. The first few should not be a problem at this point, but the new ones can be rough depending on how prepared you are. Defeating these beasts is the best way to earn gald and raise your job title.
