Target Weaknesses with Muzét’s Diverse Repertoire of Artes
Muzét can learn many damaging artes with wide areas of effect, and outside of Light and Shoot, can learn artes of every damage type. Both her artes and normal attacks offer long enough reach to hit from a mid-range position on the battlefield, but she lacks the Vitality necessary to be a melee fighter. She’s better off casting her artes from the rear, safely behind her comrades. Learn and activate the Aerial Spell skill to allow her to cast her artes from even greater safety in mid-air.
Key Attributes
- Can use artes with a variety of damage types.
- Can use many artes with wide areas of effect.

- Can take a variety of actions in mid-air.

Have Muzét cast artes that can ensnare large groups of foes from a safe position behind her comrades.
Special Ability—Emergency Warp
Move to a Remote Position Upon Taking Damage
If you perform a front- or back-step when Muzét becomes staggered by an enemy attack, she’ll become momentarily invulnerable and warp a fixed distance away to evade any additional attacks. Additionally, if she casts an arte immediately after warping, she can earn bonuses that reduce the arte’s casting time and TP cost. Make good use of this ability when Muzét is surrounded with no avenue for escape, or when you simply want to get some distance from her foe in order to launch a counterattack.
Emergency Warp PropertiesWhen you perform a quick-step while Muzét is staggered, she becomes momentarily invincible and is instantaneously transported to a new position away from her foe. When using an arte immediately after an emergency warp, the casting time of spirit artes and TP cost of martial artes are halved. |

Steps of an Emergency Warp
Receive Damage From an Enemy Attack
When Muzét is staggered from an enemy attack, perform a front- or back-step. Make sure you haven’t set any skills like Grace that prevent staggering.
Quick-Step Away From Your Foe
When Emergency Warp triggers, Muzét will be transported to a new position along the plane she shares with her foe, in a state of normal combat readiness.
Launch a Counterattack
Perform an arte immediately upon Muzét arriving at her new position to earn bonuses like shortened casting times and reduced TP cost.

Knockdowns into Attack Artes
The long reach of Muzét’s normal attacks allow her to land hits from a distance roughly equal to one quick-step away. However, her attacks are on the sluggish side and she lacks Vitality, two factors that make her poorly suited for melee combat. The main role of her normal attacks should be intercepting incoming foes; her

attack is particularly useful as it knocks enemies down, buying Muzét time to cast her spirit artes.
While your target is knocked down, start casting a spirit arte as a follow-up attack.
