Start with the Artes That Are Easiest to Obtain
Ludger has so many artes to learn that it doesn’t really matter which extractor you use early in the game; just take the path that will earn you the greatest quantity. Towards the middle of the game, you’ll want to target skills that improve your normal attacks and artes, and in the game’s final stage, you should aim for Ludger’s arcane artes and strongest normal artes.

Learn Artes of Every Damage TypeThe first goal is to get the most accessible arte of each damage type to increase versatility on the battlefield. As you acquire new extractors, equip them to Ludger first to expand his repertoire of skills and artes.

Learn Ludger’s Most Powerful ArtesLudger has numerous artes like Moonlight Assault and Hunting Phoenix in the 2000–6000 point range, so aim for skills that increase your overall combat potential and pick up the artes along the way.

Learn and Enhance Ludger’s Arcane ArtesIn the final half of the game, ignore the skills and begin targeting Freezing Eruption and Requiem, Ludger’s powerful arcane artes. Once you learn them, continue enhancing them by targeting their higher-level versions.
