Leia has generally strong stats, with her Agility being particularly impressive, and weak scores only in Intelligence and Dexterity. Her low Intelligence hardly matters, as it affects virtually none of her artes. But to compensate for the low critical hit rate caused by her lack of Dexterity, you should strive to have her strike at foes from behind.

Partner Skill: Item Steal

Swipe Items from Fallen Foes

When you knock down a foe while Leia is nearby, she has a set chance of stealing the fallen foe’s item. The odds of success vary per enemy, but you can boost those odds by an additional 30% with the Steal Plus skill. The items you can steal are primarily consumables and materials, but you can sometimes pilfer accessories from bosses. This ability also serves a useful function in combat, preemptively depriving foes of their healing items before they can use them to prolong the fight.

Restore Item Steal

If Leia is standing and not currently under attack, her partner skill will trigger whenever an enemy is knocked down. The odds of success vary by enemy.
Leia’s partner skill won’t trigger if the foe has no items or its item has already been stolen.
The Steal Plus skill increases the odds of success by 30% when equipped.
When the Support Shift skill is active, Leia will steal gald instead of items.

You can only steal one item from each foe. Once you get it, you may want to switch partners.
