Player choice is a very big part of the game in every Main Chapter and Character Episode. You will be given the chance to decide on simple things like conversational comebacks, and what course of action you take can trigger a battle or change the flow of the story in a subtle way. One of the most important aspects of this choice is that they provide a chance to increase the affinity with other characters. Strictly follow the Walkthrough in this book so you don’t miss anything!

Impact of Choices

Your choices during dialogue scenes affect how events play out, the progression of the story, your affinity with party members, and the ending.
The choices appear even if you skip the event scene cinematics.
Some choices are timed. You’ll always choose the left choice if you run out of time.
When the icon of a character’s face appears after you make a choice, that indicates you’ve gained affinity with that character because of your choice.
When you replay the game with New Game+, a check mark will appear by the choices you made in your previous play through, so that you can make different ones if you like.
You can also hear Ludger’s voice reading the choices if you’ve unlocked that in the grade shop.
