Elize Provides Backup With Recovery and Combat Artes
Elize has access to a wide variety of recovery artes, as well as plenty of Dark-type attack artes, so her primary role should be supporting the party with healing when it’s needed and offensive artes when it’s not. Elize is slow at both movement and quick-steps, so she struggles when fighting at close range. Keep her as far from your foes as possible.

Special Ability—Teepo Switching
Toggle Teepo to Enhance Either Physical or Spirit Artes
When you press 
to have Elize perform a taunt, you’ll also toggle Teepo between ON and OFF modes. Teepo’s status affects both normal attacks and artes, strengthening physical artes when OFF and spirit artes when ON. It’s vital that you always set Teepo to the mode that matches the artes you intend to use. At the beginning of each battle, Teepo will retain his setting from the end of the previous battle.
You can’t shorten the switching animation by taking actions like guarding, so make sure to do it in a safe place.

Normal Attacks
Use Long-Range Normal Attacks When Teepo is ON
Teepo’s ON or OFF status also affects normal attacks. When Teepo is OFF, Elize uses Teepo to perform short-range attacks, but when Teepo is ON, Elize is able to fire long-range bursts of light from her staff. Since Elize is most effective when using spirit artes far from the front lines, you’ll want to keep her primarily in long-range ON mode. Quick, wide-area attacks like Elize’s

attack will help keep enemies at bay.
