Tales of Xillia 2 eGuide 2 Characters Milla Maxwell

Overview: Intelligent and Well-Balanced

Milla enjoys high Intelligence, above average scores in every other stat, and no significant weaknesses. Since she has no stand-out attributes, players can arrange her armor and accessories to suit their preferences, such as using circlets for headgear when they want to raise her Physical Defense.

Partner Skill: Bind
Temporarily Restrain Your Foe

When Milla is your partner, her Bind support ability has a chance of triggering whenever you attack your flanked foe. When it triggers, the foe will be temporarily immobilized, providing an opportunity for you to deal heavy damage with consecutive attacks. Milla will always Bind a foe if it’s stunned, so switching your partner to Milla once you’ve stunned a foe can be an effective strategy, as it will keep the target immobilized for even longer.

Bind Properties
  • When her partner is attacking a foe that the partner is flanking with Milla, there is a 2% chance Bind will trigger, immobilizing the foe for 2 seconds.
  • If the enemy is Speed-type, the odds of Bind triggering increase to 20%.
  • Stunned foes will always be bound, and are immobilized for 4 seconds.
  • While performing Bind, Milla can take no action outside of participating in Linked Artes. If she’s attacked during the process, the Bind will fail.
  • When the Support Shift skill is active, Bind lasts half as long, but an ailment corresponding to the foe’s weakness is applied.
  • Milla can Bind bosses, although the odds of success are low.

When using Support Shift, the guaranteed ailment is a useful bonus.
