Tales of Xillia 2 eGuide 1 Game System Game System

Having Cats Get Items

Many unique items and quest-specific items can only be acquired through the dispatch, therefore you should send out the cats as soon as they return. When you send out cats, you can send them with an item that increases the odds of finding rare items or hastens the speed with which they return. Also, there’s a different bonus every day and you can set your game’s date/clock to trick the system into getting the bonus you want. It’s a pretty daunting task to find all the felines, but if you can catch them all, you can earn three special cat-related fashion items.

Using the Kitty Dispatch
  • Once you’ve caught a cat somewhere, you can send cats to that location to look for items.
  • There are 55 possible locations, and each has different items to collect.
  • There is a dispatched timer that shows you when the cats will return with the collected items.
  • You can call them back sooner, but you won’t get any items.
  • You can send them out in Fractured Dimensions, but they’ll actually search the normal world.
  • There are five or six items per area. Items that are not yet found are listed as ????.
  • Once you’ve found all but one item in an area, the next time the cats might bring back an attachment or weapon, completing the area.
  • Cats can bring back Material, Rare Items, new Cats, Attachments, and Weapons.
