Use Senu to spot resources in the wild, collect the loot, and use them to upgrade some of your equipment. Refer to the Crafting section of the “Reference and Analysis” chapter for more information.

Loot

We show locations for treasures found at “Treasure” locations, tombs, and enemy strongholds, but there are more to be found in the world. Use the Animus Pulse to sense nearby loot.

Shops

Blacksmiths, stables, and weavers are located in many cities and villages around Ancient Egypt. Their stock changes every time you return to the region and visit them. Level of weapons and shields are based on the player’s level.

Shop Inventory

Shop Inventory

Blacksmith

Weapons, shields, and arrows/tools refill as well as upgrade weapons and shields. With the Buy Materials ability, the blacksmith sells bronze, cedarwood, and iron.

Stables

Camels, horses, chariots (with Chariot Owner ability).

Weaver

Outfits. With the Buy Materials ability, the weaver sells hard leather, pelts, and soft leather.

A blacksmith can upgrade any piece of equipment that is below your current level. New weapons and shields come fairly often, but if you have a favorite, spend drachmas to bring it up to your level.

Nomad’s Bazaar moves around 15 different locations, offering a limited number of carbon crystals and mystery gear. Reda also offers a daily quest.

Assassin Bureau (Bureau of the Hidden Ones)

After the final quest, Birth of the Creed, the Bureau of the Hidden Ones becomes available in Memphis. Here you read documents that provide backstory, and an assassin NPC sells special items. He carries Legendary gear along with the items in the following table.

Tablet of Knowledge

This tablet holds the secrets of an ancient civilization. Reading it gives you 1,000 additional experience points. The Tablet of Knowledge can be purchased repeatedly to progress even more.

Viewpoints

There are 58 Viewpoints located at high points around the world map, often requiring a lot of climbing to access. Once you reach a Viewpoint, hold the Loot button to synchronize the location—providing a great view of the area around you. Each Viewpoint rewards you with 100 XP. Also, the location becomes available for Fast Travel, nearby sites are discovered, and Senu’s perception is increased—allowing the bird to detect farther away.

Every viewpoint has a safe spot to land below, into which Bayek can make a leap of faith.

Sandstorms

In any desert territory, a sandstorm can whip up at just about any time. A cloud of sand disrupts vision for you and for NPCs in the game. If you know enemy positions, take advantage of the situation and attack. Otherwise, retreat to safety and wait it out. Senu is unavailable during a sandstorm.

Taking Photos

If enabled in Gameplay Options, click the left and right analog sticks to snap a photo of your current view. These photos are then accessible at the map screen. Snap five pictures within five different regions to earn the Reporter achievement/trophy.

Avenge Quest

When an online friend is killed in his game, you can find his corpse where he died. Interact with it to receive a new objective to defeat what killed your friend. You must be online for Avenge Quests to appear.
