Speak to Aya in Alexandria

Alexandria

Enter Aya’s hideout passage on the Great Library’s northeast corner (1). Bayek reunites with Aya and gives her the good news that Flavius is dead. She tells Bayek that she’s heading to Rome now.

Aya has kept herself busy while Bayek was in Cyrene. Brutus and Cassius are two Romans who have found a common enemy with Aya. Phanos the Younger and Phoxidas are preparing to send scrolls across Egypt and toward Rome and Greece to inform their trusted allies of the new brotherhood fighting against the Order of the Ancients.

Speak to Aya One Last Time

It seems the couple’s hard journey is splitting them apart. Bayek does not want to let Aya go so easily now that he feels his quest is complete. He locks the orb in a box to keep it from anyone else’s hands. Exit the hideout the way you entered. Head northwest to the marker (2) on Alexandria’s north shoreline to find Aya.

On the beach, Aya and Bayek face the truth of what their relationship has suffered. Aya pushes Bayek away when he hopes to let the gods decide the fate of their relationship. But with a little more contemplation, he agrees to the separation, as they sacrifice their personal lives for the greater good. They develop an assassin’s creed: to kill only in the shadows and to eliminate only those who deserve it. (Notice the shape of the bird skull imprint in the sand when Aya lifts it off the beach.)
