Papyrus Territory: Memphis

Hint: Two men stand guard on the Memphis eastern canal. The south one looks solemnly at his sunken friend. If you follow his gaze, you can find him and me on the river floor.

Reward for Completing Location: 300 XP

Reward Territory: Memphis

Papyrus Location

Just west of the biggest structure in Memphis, located in the middle of the city, the Temple of Ptah sits atop a hill. There are numerous ways to get inside the temple, even a hidden entrance on the northwest side—just follow the small stream of water, climb the right rock wall, and continue along the path until you emerge from a big well. From here, climb over the south wall and search under the canopy for the scroll.

Treasure Location

Go east from the temple until you reach the eastern shores and find the central canal as it enters the city, where a statue stands guard on each side of the water. Run east from the southern statue until you reach the water. Jump in and dive to the bottom and continue east until you find the head and body of another statue. Collect the treasure that sits on it.
