Boss: The Brothers (Viridovix and Diovicos)

Bayek’s Weapon: Regular sword and shield

Enemy Level: 28

Description: Two brothers, each wielding their signature weapons with imposing strength and aggression.

Reward Item: None

Elite Reward Item: Leviathan Legendary Heavy Blade

The first arena boss fight is unique in that you face two enemies instead of one. Viridovix uses a long scythe, while Diovicos whips around a pair of chains. This makes for a challenging fight, as the pair attempts to team up on their target.

Viridovix has the ability to grab and throw you with his scythe, which enables his partner to follow with a combo strike. Evade backward, avoiding the long-reaching strike.

While Viridovix swings his scythe around, Diovicos jumps in for a strike or goes in for a melee combo attack. Dodge to the side and go in for a quick strike with your sword. When he backs up and bangs his chest, get ready for his jump attack and sidestep the hit. His defenses are minimal, as he has only his bracers to block your sword.

When Diovicos gets close to Bayek, he attempts to grab and slam you into the ground. Depending on your level, this can be a devastating blow, so evade backward when he moves in.

Viridovix has a charge attack, where he runs at you and swings his scythe. This allows him to close in from distance, but the strike is still relatively slow. Stay alert for his combo, dodging backward until he stops. A third attack is his spin attack, which is highly damaging if he hits you. If he misses, though, he goes down on a knee to recover—providing a great opportunity to strike.

Attempt to isolate one of the brothers by running to the opposite side of the arena and fighting the first guy to reach your location. The fire that burns in the middle of the stadium also allows you to separate yourself from a boss. Avoid attacking when both brothers are nearby.

Description: A furious giant with a massive weapon, the Slaver is a man mountain of angry mindless brawn.

Reward Item: 25 drachmas, Dress of the Coastal Realm Legendary Outfit

Elite Reward Item: 50 drachmas, none

Traps: Spiked pillars

Three spiked pillars spin in place on either side of the arena during the Slaver boss fight. Remain aware of these traps as you move around the battlefield, especially when backpedaling away from your opponent. Place one of these obstacles between you and the boss to recoup health. The Slaver may strike the pillar, destroying your temporary protection.

The Slaver is a beast of a boss who uses a long pole with a claw on the end. He has several moves with the weapon. His big swings are devastating but are fairly slow, giving you a chance to evade back out of his reach.

Worse than his big swing attack is his combos. If he spins around for a really big hit, evade away from him and be ready to repeat this a few times to avoid the entire set of strikes. Learn these strings of attacks and be ready to strike the moment he comes to a stop.

He also has a quick step-stab attack, which you need to be ready for, as he pokes forward with the bottom of his weapon. He may also lunge forward and stab with the claw, which has can grab his target and toss him forward. This damages Bayek if a spiked pillar stops his momentum.

If he feels confident, the Slaver may rest his weapon on his shoulder in a taunting move. If you’re close, go in for a three-hit combo.

If Bayek lies on the ground, the Slaver stabs the claw at you, so ready an evade maneuver to avoid the attack. This gives you an opportunity to get a hit or two in while he is vulnerable. Continue to wear down the beast until he falls to the ground in defeat.
