What’s Yours is Mine

Prerequisite: Complete all four ritual site investigations

Suggested Level: 19

REWARDS: 3,500 XP

Interact with the Unconscious Man

Find a man (1) lying unconscious in the sand to the south of the Viewpoint pyramid. Corteseos is a geographer and he’s missing his notes. All he remembers is the sounds of horses galloping off.

Find the Thieves Who Attacked You

The hoofprints lead south. Head toward Menkaure’s Pyramid. Send Senu to pinpoint the area of interest. Enter the small ruins at the base of Menkaure’s Pyramid.

Investigate the Ruins to Track the Thieves

Inside the ruins (2) you can interact with a large rock near a small hole in a wall. Looks like someone small dug their way out. The hole is too small for you to crawl through. You must find another way in.

Explore the interior of the ruins to the southeast and speak to the small child. He seems suspect when you ask if he’s alone but avoids giving you an answer.

Exit the ruins and go to the back side. There is a series of small blocks you must move away from another small access hole.

Move enough blocks to get inside. Once inside, you find a small boy sitting alone. He says that they were forced to hide the stolen items in Menkaure’s pyramid.

Explore Menkaure’s Pyramid to Recover the Stolen Items

Head to the tunnel entrance (3) on the north side of Menkaure’s Pyramid. Light a torch and follow the tunnel. You discover an upper pathway and a lower one. Both lead to the same chamber. Take either route.

Inside the open chamber is a very large ornate box, likely a sarcophagus. Loot the chest behind it. If you entered this chamber using the lower path, then you passed another hallway just outside the entrance of this chamber. Take that pathway now. Bayek finds his stolen feather.

A small boy attacks you, saying that this is his pyramid. He tells you that Corteseos’s notes were taken by bandits from the hills west of the Hermon Tombs and that they have Anta too.

Reach the Bandit Hideout Where Anta Is Held Captive

Exit the pyramid and ride northwest toward the marker. If you head directly for the marker, you’ll encounter an ibex and hyena hunting opportunity. A little bit farther you may be spotted by bandits. Finish them off along the way.

Explore the Hideout in Search of Anta and Rescue Her

Adorer of Thoth Tomb

Location Objectives: One Ancient Tablet

Following the marker places you at the typical entry (4) to the tomb. Fly Senu above the mountain, where you find a large hole (5). This is the suggested entrance to the tomb. Senu can also mark the enemies below the hole through the mountain. Ditch the horse and climb the mountain to this entrance.

Carefully drop down into the hole, latching on to lower handgrip points as you descend to a ledge you can stand on. Look at the Level 19 bandits in the darkness below. Many of them are gathered around a fire and an oil vase. Shoot the vase and duck back on your ledge. Many will burn to death; shoot arrows through the survivors before dropping down into the tomb.

You can either move around on the floor of the tomb or traverse higher along the narrow ledges and platforms that span the tomb. We suggest staying up high and exploring until you rid the tomb of enemies.

At the end of the tomb, you find Anta in a cage near the balance platform puzzle. Anta turns out to be a dog. Do not free her yet unless you want her running off without you.

Weight and Platform Puzzle

To solve the balance platform puzzle, simply move the single weight off the platform (7) closest to Anta (8), walk up the ramp, and drop it on the higher moving platform (6). Now take the weights from the ground and place three more weights on moving platform (6). With it securely weighted down, head back up the ramp (6) and jump from the ramp’s top (not the platform) to the now-raised platform (7). Enter a room to find the Ancient Tablet and some good loot. Climb back out of the chamber and rescue Anta (8).

Free Anta from her cage and she’ll run for the main exit. If you left anyone alive, eliminate them on your way out so they don’t harm your four-legged friend.

Escort Anta Back to the Children

Anta runs out of the tomb and heads south to the children (9). Catch up to her to talk to the kids. They say they saw the horseman, who probably has Corteseos’s notes. They say he’s near Khufu’s Pyramid (10).

Find and Assassinate the Bandit Horseman

Head east past Khufu to track down the horseman. Select a long weapon and have your strongest warrior bow handy. When you spot the bandit, start in with arrows and then ride in close and take him out with a few passes of the long weapon.

Bring Corteseos’s Notes Back to Him

Dismount and confirm the kill to take the notes. Head back to Corteseos (1) to give him his notes.
