Free the Prisoner
Balagrae Roman Barracks

The prisoner who initiates this quest is in a cell in the basement of Balagrae Roman Barracks (1). Approach this site, using the mountain behind it for cover. Work your way down to a low rock ledge (2) with tall grass on it. From here you can hide and hit many of the soldiers inside the base.
When you’ve taken down all you can from there, drop to the haystack below and restock your arrows from the supply next to the hiding booth. Climb to the top of the building (3) and see how many more soldiers you can kill with one hit. It’s best to clear the site before you bring the prisoner out.
When everyone is dead, head into the building and creep upstairs to see if you can catch the captain while he’s sitting. If not, use the hiding booth on the first floor to assassinate him during his patrol route.
The cellar stairway is near the back door (the mountain side of the base). Head down and take the treasure from the corner and then free the prisoner.
Escort the Prisoner out of Balagrae Barracks
Once freed, the prisoner must exit the barracks through the front gates (4). If you’ve killed everyone except those in the small camp (5) in front of the barracks, then you could climb the southeast corner wall (while he’s following you) and head south. This forces the prisoner to exit the barracks through the front gate, taking the most direct route to you while avoiding the small enemy camp (5) out front.

Find and Retrieve the Spy List
Hydrax Roman Camp
Prerequisite: Approach the camp

Travel northeast to the Hydrax Roman Camp (6) in Marmarica. When you get close, send Senu up to locate the spy list on the Centurion. Scale the mountain and the side of the fort walls (6) to reach the brazier (8). Sometimes the captain patrols both the brazier platform and the stair landing (7) on the opposite side of the central guard tower. You may be able to get an arrow in his head before you climb the walls.
There are usually a few soldiers inside the building (9). Use the rooftop as a vantage point to shoot arrows at the soldiers down in the camp; then hide behind the peak of the roof so they don’t see you. Continue to watch for those soldiers in the room below you. Pick them off as they leave on patrol or run in and slaughter them.
The Centurion is marked. Kill him and confirm the kill to obtain the Apollodorus’ Agent in Kyrenaika quest item to complete the quest. The treasure for this location is inside the building (9).
