Assassinate Septimius
Aya enters the Roman coliseum and finds Caesar with Septimius by his side. Septimius begs Caesar to let him be his right-hand man. Caesar agrees. When Caesar leaves, Septimius catches Aya’s glare an entire coliseum’s length away… and it’s on!
Both Aya and Septimius jump into the arena and the battle begins. Both Aya and Septimius are Level 35 fighters. Aya does not have any arrows, so you cannot cheat your way to an easy kill. You must use your dual blades and fighting finesse. Target-select your opponent and begin strafing and dodging as he goes in for attacks. As soon as he swings and misses, go in for a series of quick attacks to fill up your adrenaline gauge as fast as possible.
Take advantage of knock-downs and move in quickly for a flurry of quick attacks. If you get knocked down, get up and move before he hits you with a debilitating move where you glow and become paralyzed. Once this occurs, there’s nothing to do but wait for the hurt. Avoid getting caught in his special attack by continually moving and dodging. Advance only when he has just finished with a combo attempt.
You should be able to fill up your adrenaline gauge after four successful rounds of hits on Septimius. Release the special move on him as soon as you get an opening. Follow up the special with a series of quick attacks to start filling the gauge again.
After three special attacks and a little bit more hacking, you can take Septimius down for good. No need to confirm the kill. Next you get to gloat in the kill room. Septimius continues to taunt Aya, but she gets the last word and the final attack.
Reach the Curia
Exit the coliseum. Follow the objective marker west out of the arena and into a large hall. Run to the top floor. Exit the building onto a balcony with an arrow supply at a railing. Fill up on arrows. Hop onto the railing (1) and look at what you are up against in the courtyard below.
There’s about 50 soldiers of every type possible. Their levels are closely matched to yours, so stealthy assassinations are not guaranteed on most of the tougher soldiers. Of course, you want to avoid going up against them, as they would immediately outnumber you. Your goal is to get to the doors (11) on the courtyard’s opposite side and open them while you are not in conflict.This means you can’t just sprint through chaos and open the doors. You must reach the doors and then open them without being noticed.
Here’s how to do it. Jump from the balcony (1) to the right tree (2). Run through the tree branches and leap to the top of the pergola (3). Run and jump to the next pergola and then leap down into the tall grass (4) in the corner near the stairs. Duck down.
Duck into the building and take the stairs (5) to the second-level balcony (6). Begin scaling the north wall and get up above the windows. Start shimmying along the roof trim (7). Continue shimmying around the courtyard until you reach the corner (8), where you must drop down because metal spikes keep you from going any farther. Drop into tall grass (9) and duck down.
There’s a very good chance a nearby guard will spot you. Throw a sleep dart at him and get to the top of the destination porch (10). Dash for the exit doors (11) and open them while in stealth.
Assassinate Caesar
Once inside, Aya finds a robe to disguise her identity. Caesar is entertaining guests in the next room. Simply walk up to him and assassinate him in front of everyone. Aya walks away as Casca, Decimus Junius Brutus, and Marcus Junius Brutus continue to stab him 22 more times until he is dead. Aya sends him off to eternity in the kill room
