Details: To assassinate the Snake, Bayek must discover his identity.
Find the Royal Scribe’s Office
Once reunited with Aya (1) (in Main Quest: May Amun Walk Beside You), Bayek learns that the Snake is someone on the Royal Council. He must search the palace for the seal with the sign of the Snake to discover his target’s identity. Then he must assassinate that target.
Instead of trying to go back up out of the well to exit Aya’s hideout, simply use the door in the north corner. This places you in a flowerbed outside the great library. Mount a horse and follow the marker to the Royal Palace (2) while avoiding hostile territory.

Royal Palace: Approach
Although the Royal Palace (2) is one of the largest forts you’ve seen, it’s not actually an activity with captains; however, there are three treasures inside and more soldiers than you have arrows. So, we will show you the quickest way in and out to get the Snake’s whereabouts while still obtaining the three treasures. Start by using this scaffold (3) to reach the walkway on the battlement on the palace’s southeast side.
The long battlement makes it hard to know where the restricted area of the Royal Palace actually starts. You may want to stay out of the first guardhouse (4) until you have sent Senu up to mark all the soldiers. There are many. You don’t need to mark them all, but it helps. Do mark the ones around the buildings covered in this strategy and definitely mark the ones along this wall walk. Mark the treasures as well (check the map for help finding them).
Royal Palace: Clear the Route
Clear the inside of the first guardhouse (4) and then get on its roof to put arrows in anyone who looks like they may get close. Cross the pulley and rope (5) that stretches from the wall to a building (6) on the left that houses two treasures. You can get the treasures on the way out.
Royal Palace: Rooftop Path
Head north along the rooftop, watching for any soldiers patrolling the wall walk, which is now on your right. At the end of the building, you can cross a rope (7) to navigate over the covered walkway below. Take this to the north end of the next rooftop and cross one more rope to reach the Royal Scribe’s office building (8). While walking along the rope, notice the open window on the right, below where the rope attaches to the building you’re heading to. This is the window entry to get inside.

Stand on the rooftop’s edge, above the open window. None of the soldiers patrolling below will see you. Just be sure there are no soldiers patrolling nearby on the wall walk. Drop from grip point to grip point until you drop through the open window.
Investigate the Royal Scribe’s Office
The scribe’s office is the second room on the left as you enter through the second-story window. There are four investigation items: the locked chest, scrolls, a ladder on the floor, and a key to the chest on top of the corner wardrobe. Reach the key by climbing up the statue between the two shelves and shimmying over to a hanging position just below the key. Interact with it to take it; then drop to the floor and open the chest.
You find a scroll in a hidden compartment on the bottom of the chest. The scroll talks about the assassinated members of their group that he and Aya have already killed and also implicates Eudoros as the Snake.
Reach the Bathhouse
Find Three Treasures
Before you leave the Royal Palace, you should get the three treasures there to complete an activity. Head out the same window you entered and return to the rooftops. Cross the rope (9) over the covered walkway to the west and head across the next building (10). Use Senu to make sure all the soldiers in the area are marked and then move down the side of the building on the south side (the courtyard side). When the coast is clear, enter the first floor through the main doorway (the guard will walk away or you can assassinate him).
Enter the first room on the left and use Animus Pulse to find the treasure in the back-left corner.
Return the way you came. Return to the rooftops and work your way south (7). Scale down the west side of the tallest building along the route and enter the building through one of the large open windows (11).
Get to the floor and find the second treasure in the middle of the room next to a lion rug. Loot the entire building.
Find the last treasure in the room to the south. It’s in a red chest in the left corner.
To the Bathhouse
If you have synchronized the Paneion Viewpoint one block west of the bathhouse (12), then use that to Fast Travel close to your next destination. Otherwise, backtrack along the route used to enter the Royal Palace grounds and ride to the bathhouse now. Synchronize the Paneion Viewpoint on your way. Enter the bathhouse through the marked door on the north side.
Assassinate Eudoros

Once inside the bathhouse, you find yourself in a towel, standing on the raised stairway entrance. Without moving, look to your left and right. There are ladders in nooks on both sides that lead to a network of rafter pathways.
You only have the hidden blade, so the easiest way to assassinate Eudoros is to perform a takedown assassination from above. Climb the ladder on the right since you’ll have to access that side of the rafters to reach your target anyhow.
Once you have reached the rafters, run to the building’s south side. Look for the T-intersection that leads to the east side of the bathhouse, where your target is located.
Take a right at the path’s end. You’ll be just above your target’s room. Stand at the edge ofthe window and look for him in the small room below. When he moves into position, drop down and assassinate him with a jump take down. If you make a mistake and end up fighting him hand-to-hand, then you must deal with his bodyguards and then confirm your kill. In a cinematic, you struggle with Eudorus but you overpower him and eliminate him in the white room.
Escape the Bathhouse
If you didn’t kill Eurodos’s guards, then you must deal with them after the assassination. The easiest thing to do is avoid them by quickly scaling the wall to return to the rafters. Run back to the ladder in the front of the room. Slide down and sprint to the exit. The quest is complete once you are outside the bathhouse. You earn XP and the bathhouse towel outfit.
