Speak to Taimhotep
This quest unlocks after you kill the soul eater during Main Quest: The Lizard’s Mask. Afterward, you can find Taimhotep weeping on a bench in her temple garden (1). Speak to her.
Find the Shop and Get a Fertility Talisman
Send Senu up to find the magic goods shop (2). It’s in an underground tomb. Light a torch, enter, and explore.
Explore the Shop to Find a Fertility Talisman
Meet the curious shop owner inside. She leaves the shop while you investigate. Use Animus Pulse to mark the clues in the room. Inspect an inventory sheet where the talisman in blue faience is listed.
Use Animus Pulse again. A mark pops up under a sheet hanging against a wall. Push through the sheet to find a moveable shelf. Push it forward. This reveals a small secret room. Collect the loot from the floor and inspect the final clue on the table in the back. It’s the fertility talisman.
Hunt Birds and Bring Their Trophies Back to Taimhotep
You Need Two Flamingo Tongues and Two Heron Feathers
Three thugs enter and attack as you start to exit the magic shop. Just be ready for them with a bow in hand and shoot one after the other in the head.
If you have sold all your animal parts and need to find the flamingo tongues and heron feathers, then head to the boat slip around the Memphites Barracks (3). Shoot a couple and collect their tongues.
Fast Travel to the Viewpoint (4) to the northeast. Remain on the pillar and begin hunting heron; they like to land in the water below. Shoot a couple and grab their feathers.
You can now find Taimhotep at a stable (5).
Escort Taimhotep to the Pyramid of Djoser
Saqqara Nome
Mount the camel at the stable and follow Taimhotep and her maid. You shouldn’t run into any trouble until you must pass through Per Our Hideout (6). This is a bandit-occupied hideout just south of the Djoser pyramid in Saqqara Nome.
Per Our Hideout
Prerequisite: Approach the hideout
Suggested Level: 23
Location Reward: 300 XP
LOCATION OBJECTIVE: Loot one treasure
Taimhotep stops just before entering the gates (6) of Per Our Hideout. Ride through the front gate; not much of a battle occurs since all the bandits are on foot. You move so quickly away from them that not much of a chase occurs, even though her maid does not take the most direct exit route.
Taimhotep and her maid dismount near the base of the pyramid and climb a dune to reach the top of a wall walk, where the ritual settings are in place. When Taimhotep is at the ritual site, guard her during the moon-lit ceremony.
