The Heron Assassination
Bayek confronts his first target, Rudjek (known as the Heron) at the Saqqara Pyramid. By the appearance of the plump man’s lavish wardrobe, it seems he is wealthy and holds a high position in Egypt’s hierarchy. However, by the swiftness of his execution, and his inability to defend himself against Bayek’s fueled rage, it’s also obvious that Rudjek was not prepared to cross paths with Bayek, paying the ultimate price for his transgressions. The reason for this first of many targeted assassinations is not yet known.
