Investigate the Tomb Where Bayek Killed the Heron
Getting into the Investigation Chamber
The pyramid in which the Heron died is inaccessible. It’s through the high west entrance (2). Before you enter, you must unblock an obstruction. To do this, enter the pyramid through the lower north entrance (1). Light a torch and walk cautiously; there are cobras on the ground through the first doorway in the tunnel. Defeat them.
Climb up the back wall in the cobra room. Enter a high tunnel and continue to the dead-end shaft. Begin climbing the wood framing on the wall. Pull up into the next room and break the wall.
This reveals a barred window with a view into the tunnel behind the blocked shelf in the west entrance. Look inside the room through the bars to spot the large vase blocking the shelf. Break the vase with arrows and then exit the pyramid.
The West Entrance
Push the unblocked shelf in the west tunnel, walk around to the back side of it, and enter the chamber.
Interact with the cross near the tablet. Raid the treasure on the opposite wall to complete the location objective.
Investigate the arrow below the breakable wall. This is the arrow Bayek used to scratch the heron tattoo off his arm. Break through the wall and enter the next chamber.
There are three clues to investigate in this chamber: the mummified heron, the tomb fit for a pharaoh, and the mask in the corner. Vases block the mask. Be prepared for a cobra in one of the vases. Shoot it and then investigate the mask.
Bayek pieces together what happened from the clues.
